The exchange has become rather heated and it would certainly be a good idea
to step back a bit. The theme of the discussion is already familiar and has
been discussed before. There is no use in a war over the definition of "open
source" and "community". As to the latter, I am "community" as well without
having the kind of problems others seem to have with the current state of
qooxdoo. People have all kinds of expectations and use cases and often one
mistakes one's own position to reflect the "community's" position. 

What we have is a software development infrastructure that "just works",
with an excellent support. It is stable, useful and free. What more, alas,
can you expect?  What is the concrete, realistic, empirically measurable
benefit people expect from making it "more open", what does this mean *in
practice*? I really don't understand.
