I just committed my EventParameterDialog rewrite and changes branch.
It seems to work well. Visible changes are few:
* Value widgets are spinboxes instead of menus from 0 to 127
* Most patterns have smarter defaults, eg Crescendo defaults to the min
and max of the existing notes.
* There are two new patterns, but they are essentially one: Increase and
Decrease. I'm aware that this pattern treads close to existing commands
such as IncreaseVelocity, but it offers more control and doesn't quantize
to multiples of 10 as IncreaseVelocity does.
Under the hood, it moves everything except the gui logic into
base/parameterpattern.
