Of course I would not mess anything up for you. You may rely on it that
if - *if* - I do anything, I will fully discuss it here first and put it
in a separate branch for inspection and vetoing.
But right now I don't have a plan at all, I am just letting the various
things people have said jangle around in my mind while I digest it all.
