Hi Guys, Whatever you do, please ... please, make the system simple enough for us "old-timers" to use (as we don't keep up with the latest and greatest build systems for large packages) and please don't unnecessarily require very current versions of Linux as once we have a version (with OpenCL and OpenGL) working on our (somewhat dated) hardware we are extremely reluctant to switch.
Yes, we have some up-to-date current systems that have the latest. Our big working clusters (something in the many thousands of cores) are not.
