I am unclear what it is Andre is really asking about: just the bearings for the journals (which would hardly be castings, the journals might me, or even the sideframes) or perhaps replacements for the incorrect sideframes themselves, AM having used their AAR type B road truck for the S-12 rather than the correct type B switcher sideframe. Without getting out reference materials, I cannot recall whether the wheelbase/axle spacing is the same for switchers and road trucks; if so , then Locomotive Workshop offered a white-metal switcher sideframe for their diesel kits (one turned up with a Cascade drive for my second Miller Alco, making it an S-4).If not, then there would be a headache. replacing the sideframes with stretched ones.
