Re: [blind-gamers] Manamon questions
And since I'm asking questions about Manamon/Manamon 2, how do you import Manamon from the first game into the second game? Or do you have to complete Manamon 2 before you can do this? I realize I might be asking silly questions, but the manual isn't exactly forthcoming with useful details. And, yes, I have completed the first game--barring obtaining a few additional Manamon (which is why I started this thread to begin with). - Justin On 7/1/20, Justin Jones via groups.io wrote: > I tried that yesterday and I got nowhere; I was told the connection > failed. I tried that yesterday and I got nowhere; I was told the connection failed. I went and looked at the manual and it said something about port forwarding but did not provide any explanation as to how to do this. Hello, you need the intern ip adress of your machine, maybe 192.168.100.20 and this is the one you give in the Online Trading. It is a time ago, that I did this. Re: [blind-gamers] Manamon questions
Thanks I have a desktop and a laptop and have an installation of the game on each. In the past, I've accidentally tried to launch Manamon twice on the same machine and got a message about not being allowed to have two instances of the game running on the same machine. So, now that I know it can be done, i.e. trading in the manner I discussed in my first post, how do I get the two games to speak to one another? I was able to grab my IP address from both machines, but am still unable to make both instances of the game communicate with one another. Also, regarding the guide, pity that no one has written one. If there were better mapping tools in the game, e.g. a coordinates system, I'd consider at least starting some sort of guide. In any instance, I was hoping for one as there is a puzzle I am trying to figure out and am having no luck... alas... Again, thanks for the answer, but if I may indulge a bit more, would you--any of you--be so kind as to help me through getting my laptop and desktop installations of Manamon to communicate with one another? - Justin On 7/1/20, Stephan H. wrote: > Hello, > it is not possible to have two installations of Manamon1 on the same > Laptop/PC. > But you can have one installation on an laptop an one on an PC or another > device. > And if they are in the same Network, you can trade about the same network > adress. > > In Manamon2 there is the trading system another and you don’t need an > network adress. > > In Manamon2 you can trade your manamons from manamon1 only, if you have > completed the main game. Re: [blind-gamers] Manamon questions
Hello, it is not possible to have two installations of Manamon1 on the same Laptop/PC. But you can have one installation on an laptop an one on an PC or another device. And if they are in the same Network, you can trade about the same network adress. In Manamon2 there is the trading system another and you don’t need an network adress. In Manamon2 you can trade your manamons from manamon1 only, if you have completed the main game. Then you can visit the special building in brythenburg City. So I know, there is still no walkthrough or guide for Manamon2. [blind-gamers] Manamon questions
Hello all, I decided to try and finish the original Manamon and am basically done with everything. I cannot capture a couple of remaining manamon in the manapedia as I need to trade for them. Basically, I am wondering if I created a second installation of the game on my laptop, could I trade between the two games? Or does Manamon check the account linked to the install thus preventing this sort of thing? On that note, could I do the same with Manamon 2? I don't care about online play, but I do like completing things to the best of my ability. If I cannot trade between two installs--either with Manamon 1, Manamon 2 or both, does anyone have a work-around for the trading issue? Another question that has nothing to do with the previous ones is if anyone has actually written a guide to Manamon 2 yet? Or any guides to the game what so ever? - Justin -- Justin M.
