Deconstructing The
World As We Know It
By Jim Kirwan
8-21-6

How much longer are we going to continue to buy whatever
this government says is happening? These people are the same people
that lied about each and every minute of the events on September-
Eleventh of 2001. The government has continued this cover-up from
that day to this. 911 was a self-inflicted wound, a major crime
that makes everything the US government has done since 911 a part
of their treason against the people of the United States. This
crime was committed on the world stage to justify their final
chapter in the theft of our way of life. We once had a president
who said: The only thing we have to fear is fear itself! Today
the imposter that claims to be the president says: The only thing
we have is fear!

In the 1980's Ronald Reagan began talking about the USA as a
Shining City on the Hill. A metaphorical 'beacon' of hope for all
mankind, an example to the world, of what freedom and democracy
could offer to all people everywhere. His administration introduced
the concept of Greed is Good! Since that time his metaphor has
been transformed from a shinning city, to a surrounded and heavily
fortified Bastille, where the citizens within are terrified of even
their own shadows. That grand design for this glowing dream is now
just another island in the troubled seas of the global community of
nations. In this place our foundations have been demolished, and
the better natures of the original spirit have been relegated to
the pounding surf that continues to eat away at whatever remains of
our way-of-life. This isolation is one of our own making. We are
now surrounded by the siren-calls of what we could've been-yet now
they call to us from beneath the ruins of so many lives, in that
other wider-world that should've never been attacked!

With the help of the lazy and the indolent, Ronnie set the
stage, and he brought with him the cult of ignorance, the
fraternity of the cynical and the mind-set of the Barbarians that
are now in their final hours, to convert all that was, into
something that can never be. So much fear and guilt and pain has
been spread around the planet by the many masks of fascism-that it
has become nearly impossible to tell the players-without a program.
However there are some basics that can shed a little light!

Neither fear nor guilt are sufficient reasons on which to
build a country. Fear is necessary whenever a real threat is
present, but no threat ever made, can actually support unending
war. The state of Israel was founded by several forces, many of
them dark: and those future leaders of that State invented many of
the same acts that we see every day in the news. The bombings, the
sabotage, the murders for effect, in fact all of what the
Palestinians have had to use, because they have so few traditional
weapons. This is what the Palestinians learned from the founders of
Israel. Israel has become a pariah among nations. It is state that
creates weapons, terror, and international intrigue; as the basis
for their continued existence. Criminal elements within the US
government, in tandem with massively corrupt multi-national
corporations have used this tiny rogue state as their spear-point
to attack the world. The driving force behind this was and is, to
redraw the world's maps, and to reconfigure the major wealth of
this planet into the hands of the few who want to own everything
that it is possible to possess. What the world needs most, right
now, is regime-change in the USA and Israel.

The term HOMELAND Security was taken directly from the
Nazi plan for the camps in 1934: This is not an American term.
Those who run US security within this agency came from the now
defunct East German Stasi, (Gen. Markus Wolf.) and General Yevgeni
Primakov from the KGB that vanished along with the old USSR. These
ex-directors and ex-generals supervised the spying on all US
citizens, in tandem with a disgraced US Admiral Poindexter, (TIA).
It was these people and their policies that created the passage of
the National ID Card legislation on 5-10-05; that unofficial
beginning for the internal passport that is required for every
American, beginning in 2007.(1)

Bush has repeatedly said: We need to address the root
causes of terrorism in the Middle East, and this is true! We and
our most intimate allies have been the most recent root cause for
the destabilization of the planet, especially in the Middle East.
However, too many simply take the words of this government as fact,
forgetting that their political and military history consists
solely of lies, misleading statements, and contrived threats that
are designed to Keep-the-Fear-Alive. Mass-media for its part
continues to rush to support whatever these

The Men Who Destroyed the Constitution

Professor Thomas J. DiLorenzo is one of my
favorite authors. In his latest article, he discusses Judge Andrew
Napolitano's new book, The Constitution in Exile. Napolitano, in
my mind is the best judge in America today when it comes to
constitutional issues and the Founding Father's original intent.

Original intent is not that difficult to
discern. All that is necessary is to read the Founder's writings in
the Federalist and Anti-federalist Papers and the voluminous
private correspondence of the Founders that has been preserved for
posterity. Without the Anti-federalists, there would have been no
Bill of Rights -- without which several states refused to ratify
the Constitution.

What follows is a compilation of snippets
from various historical sources and the link to the DiLorenzo article.

Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr Dueled to
the Death

   July 11, 1804

On the morning of July 11, 1804, Alexander
Hamilton and Aaron Burr raised their dueling pistols and took aim.
Hamilton, the former secretary of the treasury, and Vice President
Burr were longstanding political rivals and personal enemies. Burr
might have been the president instead of vice president, had it not
been for Hamilton's interference. When Burr's term as vice
president was almost over, he ran for governor of New York.
Hamilton, once again, prevented Burr from winning by opposing his
candidacy. Burr retaliated by challenging Hamilton to a duel.

   See Duel At Dawn, 1804 ( http://
www.eyewitnesstohistory.com/duel.htm )

   Alexander Hamilton, the nation's first
Secretary of the Treasury, was the chief author of The Federalist
papers advocating a strong central government. Burr represented the
old Republican Party. His greatest accomplishment was achieved in
1800 when he was elected Vice President to Thomas Jefferson.
Hamilton considered Burr an unprincipled rogue. The antagonism
between the two came to a head in 1804 when Hamilton thwarted
Burr's attempt to gain re-nomination for Vice President as well as
his bid to win the governorship of New York. Burr responded by
challenging his antagonist to a duel, an invitation Hamilton felt
compelled to accept.

There is no doubt Hamilton was right in
considering Burr an unprincipled rogue, but it was more an issue of
the pot calling the kettle black. Both men were driven by a lust
for power and it was a instance of irresistable force meeting an
immovable object. In the end, it was fortuitous for the fledgling
nation that one meglomaniac was killed and the other destroyed
politically by the duel. Either man becoming president would have
put in motion the eventual demise of the Republic.

In the presidential election of 1800, Burr
and Thomas Jefferson each had seventy-three votes, and the House of
Representatives on the thirty-sixth ballot elected Jefferson
President and Burr Vice President.

   Jefferson, however, distrusted both the
proposals and the motives of Secretary of the Treasury Alexander
Hamilton. He thought Hamilton's financial programs both unwise and
unconstitutional, flowing from principles adverse to liberty.
Jefferson suspected Hamilton and others in the emerging Federalist
Party of a secret design to implant monarchist ideals and
institutions in the government. The disagreements spilled over into
foreign affairs. Hamilton was pro-British, and Jefferson was by
inclination pro-French, although he directed the office of
secretary of state with notable objectivity. The more Washington
sided with Hamilton, the more Jefferson became dissatisfied with
his minority position within the cabinet. Finally, after

Bush http://www.huffingtonpost.com/news/george-w-bushWhen the Supreme Court rejected President Bush's executive power claims in last month's decision invalidating the Guantánamo military tribunals, it also shredded the administration's arguments for domestic spying. Now a bipartisan group of legal experts and former government officials are explaining to Congress exactly how the court's ruling affects the NSA's illegal domestic spying program.President Bush (and his attorneys) argue that he can bypass the law because of his wartime authority as Commander in Chief. That is a fundamental part of the administration's defense of everything from unlimited detentions in Cuba to warrantless spying in Nebraska. For spying, the Justice Department argues that the 2001 Authorization to Use Military Force (AUMF) actually authorized the spying program by implicitly repealing the 1978 Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA), which makes warrantless wiretapping a felony. Second, they claim that the President has inherent authority to wage war under Article II of the Constitution, and can therefore disregard any statutes that restrict his ability to do so.Now turn to the Court's Guantánamo decision, /Hamdan/. The administration was first claiming that the AUMF implicitly authorized Bush to create his military commissions, and second that the President has inherent constitutional powers to contravene existing statutes in order to defeat the enemy in times of war. Sound familiar? The Court ruled that neither of these arguments has any merit. The majority opinion concluded that "there is nothing in the text or legislative history of the AUMF even hinting that Congress intended to expand or alter" the Uniform Code of Military Justice--clarifying the fact that the President had no right to create commissions that violate pre-existing military law. In response to the administration's Article II claim, the Court found that although the President has the power to convene military commissions without congressional authorization, he may not disregard what limitations Congress has placed on his powers.Given /Hamdan/'s sweeping rejection of these two core arguments, it would seem that Bush's case for wiretapping is toast. But Bush's lawyers don't think so. They are straining to argue that NSA situation is totally different from Hamdan.Enter some of the most eminent constitutional scholars in the country. This letter http://www.acslaw.org/files/Implications%20of%20Hamdan%20for%20NSA.pdf is signed by professors from law schools like Harvard, Yale, and Stanford, many with a history of government service, and it systematically rebuts the government's attempts to distinguish the NSA case from /Hamdan/.As for the government's first argument, the case for wiretapping under the AUMF is actually weaker than its case for military commissions. Wiretapping is like the military commissions in that there is "nothing in the text or legislative history" of the AUMF indicating that Congress intended to repeal FISA's guidelines. Unlike military commissions, however, the law governing wiretapping is crystal clear. As the law professors aptly remind us: "FISA expressly declares that FISA itself prescribe[s] the 'exclusive means' of engaging in electronic surveillance." If the AUMF could not implicitly alter a set of vague guidelines about military commissions, then it certainly could not overturn a clear rule restricting spying.Furthermore, FISA provides a special wartime surveillance provision that authorizes surveillance outside of the FISA guidelines for only 15 days after a declaration of war. It was clearly the intent of Congress to limit the President's surveillance powers even in times of war. If Bush was interested in modifying this provision for wiretapping, he could lawfully do so by amending the 15-day provision set-forth by congress. The President's Article II argument is equally dubious. He contends that, unlike the rules governing military commissions--which were enacted in compliance with Congress's Article I authorities--Congress did not even have the constitutional authority to enact FISA. According to the letter, "this argument borders on the frivolous." FISA has been in place for many years, passed by Congress and signed by the President, and has operated appropriately since its inception. It was enacted pursuant to Congress' long recognized powers to regulate communication between states and nations, to

*Shaikh Nasrallah the new symbol of resistance against the West*
*Iqbal Siddiqi, Muslimedia.com*
http://www.muslimedia.com/persp200b.htm

The protests that have erupted around the Muslim world in support of the
Muslims of Lebanon and in protest at the Israelis' war on the country
have been dominated by placards of Hizbullah's leader, Sayyid Hassan
Nasrallah.

Muslims have always looked for symbols of their struggle against Western
imperialism and hegemony. In the past, figures such as Gamal Abdul
Nasser and Yasser Arafat have filled this role, only to be exposed as
offering nothing of substance to the Ummah. Imam Khomeini filled this
position for some short years after the Islamic Revolution, and unlike
secular leaders was never discredited. Unfortunately he died in 1989,
and his position as an icon of Islamic leadership and anti-western
resistance gradually faded. Usama bin Laden filled it for a while, but
too many Muslims were too ambivalent about the problems in the
salafist-jihadist approach, and elements of his methodology, to be
influenced by Western attempts to promote it as the real (and deeply
unpleasant) face of the Islamic movement.

The sight of Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah being accepted as a symbol of the
Islamic struggle by Muslims around the world is welcome for many
reasons. For one thing, it proves that most Muslims remain unaffected by
the poison of sectarianism that has been spread in the Ummah. Beyond
that, Shaikh Nasrallah and Hizbullah offer models of Islamic leadership,
methodology and struggle that are genuine examples for all Muslims,
unlike some of those whom they have taken as symbols and leaders in the
past. We can only hope and pray that Muslims will make the most of his
leadership and example; if so, the US may come to regret rallying Muslim
support for Shaikh Nasrallah and Hizbullah while trying to destroy it.

Scion of traitors and warlords:
why Bush is coy about his Irish links Tapestry artist reveals ancestors of US president as murderous bunch Angelique Chrisafis, Ireland correspondentThe Guardian(UK), January 27, 2005
It is perhaps not the best omen for US foreign affairs. Local historians in Wexford have discovered that George Bush is a descendant of Strongbow, the power-hungry warlord who led the Norman invasion of Ireland thus heralding 800 years of mutual misery. With a long line of Scots Irish presidents including Woodrow Wilson, the Irish are normally quick to claim US leaders as their own. But, despite President Bush's large Ulster Scots vote in the American Bible belt, Ireland had let his family escape the genealogical microscope.

But now Ann Griffin Bernstorff, an artist working on a tapestry to commemorate Ireland's Norman heritage, has discovered what she claims is the Bushs' missing Irish link.
Ms Griffin Bernstorff was researching Strongbow's son-in-law, William Marshal, when she discovered the connection. A descendant of Marshal married Anne Marbury Hutchinson, a famous 16th century religious dissenter who had already been linked to Mr Bush.
"It is one of those bizarre developments," she said. "We traced the Bush genealogy through a Republican source in Chicago and found it was correct. People here are absolutely shocked. I'm not sure what the wider reaction will be, Bush has not been seen as a great friend of the Irish."
Indeed, when Mr Bush visited a County Clare castle last year, radio talk-show hosts asked: "Is this the most hated American ever to set foot on Irish soil?"
The US president's now apparent ancestor, Richard de Clare, Earl of Pembroke - known as Strongbow for his arrow skills - is remembered as a desperate, land-grabbing warlord whose calamitous foreign adventure led to the suffering of generations. Shunned by Henry II, he offered his services as a mercenary in the 12th-century invasion of Wexford in exchange for power and land. When he eventually died of a festering ulcer in his foot, his enemies said it was the revenge of Irish saints whose shrines he had violated.
The Bush clan - who pride themselves on a distinguished New England family history that can be traced back to the first English in America - may well be looking for a healthy spin on the news. But it seems that Strongbow is not the worst of Bush's newfound ancestors.
The genetic line can also be traced to Dermot MacMurrough, the Gaelic king of Leinster reviled in history books as the man who sold Ireland for personal gain.
Even before MacMurrough earned the title of Ireland's worst traitor by inviting Strongbow's invasion to save himself from a local feud, the Irish chieftain had a reputation for gore. One English chronicler told how MacMurrough, recognising the features of a personal enemy poking from a pile of severed heads after a battle, snatched up the rotting flesh and tore it with his teeth in a "hideous frenzy".
As if it were not enough to be related to two of the most notorious figures in Irish history, Mr Bush's ancestors are also thought to have founded the settlement of New Ross, in County Wexford. A quiet place, New Ross has a stunning Norman church and another claim to fame: it is the ancestral home of John F Kennedy.
During his first election campaign in 2000, English genealogists found that Mr Bush was descended from Essex yeomanry. But unlike many US presidents keen to impress the Irish-American voters, he never before claimed an Irish link.
In the recent election campaign, the Democrat John Kerry had to deny rumours he was Irish. But Ronald Reagan and John F Kennedy played the Irish card. And Bill Clinton, perhaps aware that portraits of JFK hung beside the Pope above rural Irish fireplaces, once punched the air at a St

Israel’s Foes:
“They’re Not Human Beings,They are Arabs!”

By PUNYAPRIYA DASGUPTA
Counterpunch, August 23, 2006
http://www.counterpunch.org/dasgupta07292006.html
Israel’s ambassador in New Delhi, David Danieli, sees Hezbollah as something akin to a scorpion (Times of India, 28 July). His is not much of a new invention. Other Israelis in responsible positions have made similar statements before.
A few days earlier, Dan Gillerman, Israeli representative at UN, regretted Kofi Annan’s failure to mention that the Hezbollah was a bunch of “ruthless, indiscriminate animals”.
During its First Lebanon War in 1982 Israel’s chief of staff Rafael Eitan was gleeful that he had shoved the Palestinian ”cockroaches” into a bottle.
To Menahem Begin, chief author of the Deir Yassin massacre, who went on to become Israel’s prime minister and get a Nobel peace prize, the Palestinians were “two-legged beasts”.
Immediately after the 1967 war Robin Maxwell-Hyslop, a British Conservative, recounted in the House of Commons a conversation he had with David Hacohen, one-time Israeli ambassador to Burma. As related by Maxwell-Hyslop, Hacohen “spoke with great intemperance and at great length about the Arabs.
"When he drew breath I was constrained to say: “Dr Hacohen, I am profoundly shocked that you should speak of other human beings in terms similar to those in which Julius Streicher [notorious Nazi propagandist] spoke of the Jews. Have you learned nothing?”
"I shall remember his reply to my dying day.
"He smote the table with both hands and said: “But they are not human beings, they are not people, they are Arabs”.”
One of the many things Israeli spokesmen seem incapable of realizing is that abuse is no substitute for reason. Israel has amassed much military prowess but remains very poor in logic.
Facts cry out against Israel. The root cause of the present war in Lebanon is, according to the Israelis and Americans, in the capture of one Israeli soldier by Hamas and two by Hezbollah.
Not true. It is in the original sin of the partition of Palestine by UN against all moral, historical, demographic, legal reasons. The General Assembly’s non-binding Resolution 181 envisaged an astonishingly intricate carving of Palestine into seven pieces to make 608,000 (half of them illegal immigrants) of a total population of 1,935,000 the majority in the biggest possible area. This was the warrant the Israelis needed to begin their relentless drive to restoration of their “historical frontiers” i.e., from the Mediterranean to the Jordan river through the instrumentality of calculated massacres and wars and incredible mendacity.
Had Israel stopped even at the pre-June 1967 lines there would have been no 1973 war, no Lebanon wars, no Hezbollah, no intifadas. Hezbollah was born of the need for an effective resistance to the Israeli juggernaut after the Arab armies had repeatedly failed. Hezbollah ran the Israelis off from Lebanon, excepting Shaaba Farms, a tiny patch Israel treats as a part of the Syrian Golan Heights it conquered and annexed. To the people in the Arab world Hezbollah is their David confronting the Israeli Goliath. Hezbollah’s standing firm and inflicting substantial losses on the world’s fourth mightiest force this time has heightened Arab expectations.
Mr Danieli’s many accusations against Hezbollah include “inventing” the Israeli enemy. The wrong end of the stick. Political invention is an Israeli art.
Remember Golda Meir’s statement that there was no such thing as a Palestinian people: “They did not exist”? Hezbollah was reckoning with unceasing Israeli violations of Lebanese sovereignty Israel’s peace activists say they had watched with alarm the deliberateness behind the Israel’s latest war and soldiers admit they had rehearsed the offensives .

Here's a no-brainer, zero-cost, pure people-power issue for Democrats to latch onto for November: Get rid of this "secret hold" crap in the Senate:

[Identity of] Senator who put 'secret hold' on bill to open federal records is a secret, too

By REBECCA CARRHouston Chronicle, August23, 2006
http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/nation/4137637.html

WASHINGTON - In an ironic twist, legislation that would open up the murky world of government contracting to public scrutiny has been derailed by a secret parliamentary maneuver.
An unidentified senator placed a "secret hold" on legislation introduced by Sens. Tom Coburn, R-Okla., and Barack Obama, D-Ill., that would create a searchable database of government contracts, grants, insurance, loans and financial assistance, worth $2.5 trillion last year. The database would bring transparency to federal spending and be as simple to use as conducting a Google search.
... Now the bill is in political limbo. Under Senate rules, unless the senator who placed the hold decides to lift it, the bill will not be brought up for a vote.

The measure in question had passed out of committee unanimously and was on the fast track for floor action until the hold was placed by one man.
This is an incredible accountability measure, especially for Internet researchers like those who abound here at Daily Kos and other websites. Here's a description of what the mysterious hold is preventing, from Obama's site:

This bill would require the Office of Management and Budget to establish and maintain a single public Web site that lists all entities receiving federal funds, including the name of each entity, the amount of federal funds the entity has received annually by program, and the location of the entity. All federal assistance must be posted within 30 days of such funding being awarded to an organization.

Holds are not uncommon; in fact, they were used to great effect recently by Clinton and Murray, who held up approval on Bush's new FDA nominee until Plan B was okayed. But anonymous holds are nothing more than cowardly attempts at obfuscation, undermining as they do the underlying assumption of representative democracy - that legislators will be held accountable by voters for their actions. Clinton and Murray took that risk. This senator did not.
I'd really like to see the duly elected objector -- never mind if it's a Democrat or Republican -- stand up and say: I think it's a really, really bad idea to have $300 billion worth of government contracts available for public scrutiny. And then we can hope he or she is facing re-election this cycle.
Update: It looks like Porkbusters has already begun a campaign to have constituents call their senators and deny the secret hold. Join that effort and keep checking in there to see who’s still on the suspect list next week.

Legal experts from the
Center for Constitutional Rights propose four articles of impeachment
in the book, explaining the case clearly and precisely. This is
essential reading for all Americans. The book is part of our campaign

ClimateRefugees Eco-Economy Update 2006-7
For Immediate Release August 16, 2006 GLOBAL WARMING
FORCING U.S. COASTAL POPULATION TO MOVE INLAND An Estimated 250,000
Katrina Evacuees Are Now Climate Refugees http://www.earthpolicy.org/Updates/2006/Update57.htm
Lester R. Brown Those of us who track the effects of global
warming had assumed that the first large flow of climate refugees would
likely be in the South Pacific with the abandonment of Tuvalu or other
low-lying islands. We were wrong. The first massive movement of climate
refugees has been that of people away from the Gulf Coast of the United
States. Hurricane Katrina, which made landfall in late August
2005, forced a million people from New Orleans and the small towns on
the Mississippi and Louisiana coasts to move inland either within state
or to neighboring states, such as Texas and Arkansas. Although nearly
all planned to return, many have not. Unlike in previous
cases, when residents typically left areas threatened by hurricanes and
returned when authorities declared it was safe to do so, many of these
evacuees are finding new homes. In this respect, the U.S. hurricane
season of 2005 was different. Record-high temperatures in the Gulf of
Mexico surface waters helped make Hurricane Katrina the most financially
destructive hurricane ever to make landfall anywhere. In some
Mississippi Gulf Coast towns, Katrina's powerful 28-foot-high storm
surge (8.5 meters) did not leave a single structure standing. There was
nothing for evacuees to return to. The destruction of housing and
infrastructure in St. Bernard Parish, a low-lying 40-mile-long peninsula
(64 kilometers) extending southeast from New Orleans, rendered most of
it uninhabitable. The Katrina storm surge that raised the water level in
Lake Pontchartrain so high that it breached the levees and flooded New
Orleans left much of the city unfit to live in. Even today, a year
later, large parts of the city are without basic infrastructure services
such as water, power, sewage disposal, garbage collection, and
telecommunications. Interestingly, the country to suffer the most damage
from a hurricane is also primarily responsible for global
warming. Many evacuees were able to return in a matter of days,
but many more were not. New Orleans' population before Katrina struck
was 463,000. Claritas, a private demographic data-gathering and analysis
firm, reported that after the hurricane New Orleans' population shrank
to 93,000. By January 2006, it had recovered to 174,000. By July 2006,
the city still had only 214,000 residents, less than half of its
pre-Katrina population. Three Louisiana coastal parishes
(counties) also registered substantial population declines. The
population of St. Bernard Parish plummeted from 66,000 residents to
15,000 in July 2006. South of New Orleans, the population of Plaquemines
Parish declined from 29,000 to 20,000. Densely populated Jefferson
Parish, also bordering New Orleans on the south, dropped from 453,000 to
411,000, a loss of 42,000. Mississippi's three coastal counties
each lost population. The July tabulation showed Hancock County had lost
8,000 residents. Harrison County, which includes the town of Gulfport,
lost 12,000, and Jackson County 4,000. (See data at www.earthpolicy.org/Updates/2006/Update57_data.htm.)
As of July 2006, New Orleans, the three parishes, and the three counties
in Mississippi had lost a total of 375,000 residents because of
destruction from Katrina. Some evacuees are still returning, but the
flow has slowed to a near trickle. We
