Sadly, I don't really see anything interesting that 4.1.4 will add to 4.1.3. Yes, it seems stuck indeed. I expected Ariel to target mid-February for the release. I can still help building on Linux. 4.1.4 was (still is) supposed to be a maintenance release just to push some bugfixes for 4.1.3. Can you please reconsider releasing 4.2.0? Nothing forbids to plan for 4.2.0 already now. We don't need to release 4.1.4 before thinking about 4.2.0. If someone is available to be a Release Manager for 4.2.0, things can go on in parallel. I honestly think we will want to "release" (in the sense of making available somehow) a beta of 4.2.0 too, so work in that direction can start already now. Thanks, I will ask them if they can update the Open Hub stats... In the meantime I began to modify the pages. And maybe I get new translations for the Korean page for the weekend. ;-) Kind regards, Matthias Am 13.03.2017 um 19:21 schrieb Marcus: > Am 11.03.2017 um 19:55 schrieb Matthias Seidel: >> Does anyone know about the "Open Hub" account (formerly "Ohloh") which >> is used for the stats on this page: >> >> https://www.openoffice.org/stats/ >> >> They were last updated in May 2016. > > IMHO Ariel und Jim should have an account for Open Hub. > > HTH > > Marcus > > > >> Am 10.03.2017 um 20:55 schrieb Marcus: >>> Am 10.03.2017 um 08:54 schrieb Roberto Galoppini: Big +1. >>> >>> absolutely >>> >>> Marcus >>> >>> >>> 2017-03-09 20:59 GMT+01:00 Matthias Seidel: > Hi Roberto, Hi Marcus, > > Please have a look: > > http://www.openoffice.org/stats/downloads-test.html > > If the colours are OK I would take them also for the other graphs. > > Regards, Matthias > > > Am 09.03.2017 um 13:45 schrieb Roberto Galoppini: >> Matthias it looks great, really! >> >> I fully agree on Markus' suggestions. >> >> Roberto >> >> On Wed, 8 Mar 2017 at 23:54, Matthias Seidel >> > >> wrote: >> >>> Hi Marcus, >>> >>> Good idea! >>> >>> I could modify the test page tomorrow... >>> >>> Regards, Matthias >>> >>> >>> Am 08.03.2017 um 23:22 schrieb Marcus: Maybe it's also good to change the focus, so first the graphs and below them the text. Request to contribute documentation on accessibility
Hi everyone. We just wanted to discuss contributing documentation in the form of "how-to" guidance that helps people/instructors create accessible content from Open Office authored files for anyone/students. We thought it might be helpful to contribute content that would appear somewhere amongst your on-line user guidance, so Google might pick up questions being asked by anyone who might require the guidance documentation, and possibly feature the answer in search results. Much like if you searched for “save as tagged pdf using Microsoft word 2016”. This does work for the question “Saving as tagged PDF using OpenOffice”. Only, coming from an Open Office online resource, while structured better might make more an impact and trusted if sourced from an Open Office URL. We have a few flows that are written and edited to start from. Is this something you would be interested in see us contribute?
