I just erased the line with the non-existent URL and added the new (good
looking) ASF logo.

At the moment it is just "patching" existing graphics. ;-)

least a larger part of its functionality.

A new graphic looks easy to handle but would also put the bar lower
for other issues. So, we shouldn't accept any new exceptions. IMHO we
have already enough.

Therefore I second Andrea's opinion that this "fix" shouldn't go into
the 4.1.4 release.

Yes, the About dialog is "composed" out of several elements. One of them
is logo.png.

I tried to reduce the increase of height to a minimum and tested
(exchanged the graphics) on Ubuntu, Xubuntu and Windows. All dialogs
look slightly different, but that has always been the way.

Hi Marcus,

Yes, the term "blocker" was discussed often. (Maybe we should add
another flag "release_proposal"?)
For me it is just a flag to let the release manager know that I would
like to see a certain commit/fix included in the next release.

I think 4.1.4 would be the perfect moment to show our integration in the
ASF, even if it is only a little logo.
But I will leave it to the release manager to decide...

Anyway, it is just two graphics. I can exchange them manually. ;-)

Here is the one for the intro (splash screen). It is just a graphic,
easy to exchange:

At some point (4.1.0?) the ASF logo was removed from the splash screen.

Older version (4.0.1):

I would like to ask if we want to re-add the new ASF logo as the graphic
must be updated anyway [1] ?
