I guess this is done via puppet, see for example

I'll have to ask infra how to do that ;)

Yes, I think Ariel can do this as he has root access.

And https redirection can be done via .htaccess file in web root (or

Tomcat is behind mod_proxy_ajp, I've seen that http://androidxref.com/

Try it and comment if you find errors, and think of a subdomain name,

I'll try to puppetize as much as I can, but opengrok needs manual

I could build trunk on macOS Catalina and Xcode 11.0 (11A420a) with a
few hacks, and yes, it requires to change the system runtime
requirement to macOS 10.9, which deserves to increase 4.1.x to 4.2.0;
but in the meantime, 4.1.7 can be fixed to remove QTKit while still
building with target 10.7.

I don’t think it matters much which one is used or even if Tomcat is behind
HTTPD.

If it works then I think it is fine.

Tomcat is behind mod_proxy_ajp, I've seen that http://androidxref.com/

Try it and comment if you find errors, and think of a subdomain name,

It is our VM with root access. I think you need to ask infra for root access if
there is an issue let me know I arrange for the missing stuff.

The Ubuntu machine only offered a tomcat 7, newer opengrok need at least tomcat
8. So I decided in favour of a newer opengrok version.

Hi -

Please keep this separate from the two VMs that are being built for Forums and
MediaWiki.

Maybe we can ask for a third VM, but you will need to have two new volunteers
from the PMC to be the sysadmins.

You might ask Infra or Builds if there are other projects that are interested

I still do a lot of search with Adfinis' system. Although it was not

Hi There

I would like to inform you that we (Adfinis SyGroup AG) plan to

Shutdown will be on 2018-06-20.

The link to our opengrok site on https://wiki.openoffice.org/wiki/Devel
opment should also be removed or changed (if another source browser
system is provided by then).

How do I search for the definition in fisheye for sal_Int32?
I did not manage to do this.

IMHO what you can do is to search for a specific change in the SVN
repo.

OpenGrok lets us search the code in a quick way.
Dono if the link is persistant. But here is the example from above:
http://opengrok.adfinis-sygroup.org/source/search?q==sal_Int32
saoo-trunk

I think thats the difference.

Maybe too compact... I meant: if there is a way for OpenGrok to import
tags too, those are the tags to be imported. And that would give us all
releases, including those that don't have a dedicated branch.

Not all of them are in branches (historical reasons).

I had a quick look a couple of days ago and it seems that one needs root
access to add the new branches. This means we have to do it on our own, but

OK, yes, then of course we cannot do it on our own.

AOO400, AOO401, AOO410, AOO413, AOO414.

Perhaps also 4.2.0, in anticipation of that future release?

I think this is already covered by "aoo-trunk". See here
"http://opengrok.adfinis-sygroup.org/source/;.

As soon as we have a real AOO420 branch then, yes, it should be added.

Marcus

I gave this task to one of my work buddies (Benjamin in CC) and he'll make
sure the branches get added.

We probably need to add some more resources to that machine and the indexing
takes some time to finish. I expect to have everything done in the next couple
of days. We'll let you know :)

I wish you a nice week, talk to you soon.

It's a regression, so I would assume applying for a blocker would
be appropriate.

Would it be appropriate to ask for a release blocker on the RC2 OLE problem?

Opengrok, http://opengrok.adfinis-sygroup.org/source/, times out.

This makes it very unlikely I will be able to solve the RC2 OLE problem
before I go out of town for a few days starting on Thursday. I can use
find and grep instead, but it takes a lot longer.

sure, I have it running on a private internal server. What exactly do
you need to know. As far as I remember it was very straight forward.

I update it via cron job every night but keep stable versions. Means I
have an aoo34 aoo40 and trunk project.

It would be nice if we could use opengrok on the symphony trunk as well.

sure this is no problem, I have it for the internal version of OpenGrok.
I believe it's mainly a question of disk space. I checked out the
release version for example and trunk and let the indexer run over these
trees. When I update trunk the indexer runs again and the search is in
synch with the sources.

I have no experience to use trunk directly from the repo and let the
indexer run over the svn repo direclty.

If we make a specific version for AOO then its not a problem, but if it is
an opengrok solutiion for ASF it will work on trunk.

If somebody wants to make a opengrok installation available for AOO it
would be swell and could include whatever we want.

All committers have the possiblity to get a gratis azura vm which can be
setup with DDNS, so it is merely a matter of installing opengrok and doing
the special branches.

That is my problem right now, I dont want to waste disk space (which is
quite a lot) and not to mention the daily svn/git updates.

Opengrok should be able to work directly on svn/git repos, and with a hook
be able to update the indexes with every commit (no index rebuild, but a
gradual change).

Do you plan one index for each project or one big for the whole Apache repo?

Not me, but the current OpenGrok for OpenOffice at
http://opengrok.adfinis-sygroup.org/source/ is managed by committers, so
they might be available to give you details, or even move it to Apache.

I, for one, would fully support that we host it at Apache.

Scrollbar in OpenGrok is missing in my browser

2013-09-16 Thread Regina Henschel

Hi all,

perhaps someone has an idea what might be wrong with my browser. I use
Seamonkey 2.20 (similar to Firefox) on Windows 7.

When I search on http://opengrok.adfinis-sygroup.org and then click on a
line in the search results, the referenced file should be shown and the
cursor set in that line at top of the window.

I get the file, but it starts at line 1. And worse, the Seamonkey window
has no vertical scrollbar and mouse wheel does not work to scroll.

If I change to the Paper White style sheet, the scrollbar reappears
and disappears again when I switch back to Default style sheet.

It is no general Problem with Seamonkey, scrollbar works fine for other
sites. Even on the search result page of OpenGrok scrolling works, but
not for view of directories or files.

Any idea?

Kind regards
Regina
