[Dx4win] DXCC Challenge

I am working on the DXCC Challenge and I know F8 is the key to find
a call which I have made a contact with. As this has been some years
ago and the award was not conceived at that time when I had a big
station I need the following report information.

I want to see all stations that are not on the regular report that I
have worked for any country on the different bands and modes that I
do not have credit for. For example I want to see every other
contact(s) I have made with any of my none-credited countries Ion
every band and mode. I have used F8 and know if u use the page up
and down key does a few but would like to have a report on the band
or mode I can use. Not sure if possible but anyone with ideas I would
appreciate them.

Re: [Dx4win] help with DX4WIN

2023-06-30 Thread Keith Beebe W3KB
Let’s see if he can get things running on the one port (in his case Com 7
enhanced Yaesu port) before even trying a port splitter.

One thing at a time. The bottom line is he is trying to get DX4WIN working.

Or again, use a Virtual Serial Splitter. I'm using LPB2. It's free. I run
multiple apps SIMULTANEOUSLY.my assigning "virtual" ports via that splitter
software. That way, I can run many apps .to the ONE port (the enhanced
port) to the radio. I assign "virtual" portsIE 8, 9, 10etc.that run
SIMULTANEOUSLY. That way, there is no conflict.

Make sure nothing else is accessing that port (in this case your Com 7) and see
if DX4WIN launches on its own.

You must use the G4IRN rig file designed for the Yaesu FTDX101. I am using the
following parameters in the Radio Setup section of DX4WIN.

38,400 Baud Rate; Com 6 (in my case...yours is Com 7), 250 MS Poll Rate, Max
Tries 1 and RTS High Checked . DTS High Checked is Blank.

You must also set the DX4WIN Radio parameter to Start Radio.

Again, make sure nothing else (such as WSJT-X) is running on that port.

If you have multiple applications trying to hit the same comm port, you'll
likely need to try a virtual serial splitter app. I'm using one to run DX4WIN
and HDSDR with Omnirig on the same enhanced serial port on my 101D.
I can't run two apps on one port without that virtual serial splitter.
Some software/apps have built-in virtual splitter capabilities. But DX4WIN and
HDSDR don't have that capability.

And of course I'm running the latest rig file for the 101D in DX4WIN.

There are several virtual splitter apps available. Most or all are free.
