https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=385161 Bug ID: 385161 Summary: Can't send file from Android to PC Product: kdeconnect Version: 1.2 Platform: Manjaro OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: common Assignee: albertv...@gmail.com Reporter: sun...@hotmail.ru Target Milestone: --- Hi, Manjaro recently updated from version kdeconnect-1.0.3 to kdeconnect-1.2. Finally SMS replies started to work and notifications become usable but i can't send a file from a phone to PC/Notebook anymore. I can send it from PC/Notebook to a phone though. Reverting back to 1.0.3 i can but it loses SMS functionality. On Android i have the latest available from F-Droid 1.6.6 I've checked that downgrading Android version down to 1.6.3 but keeping PC version 1.2 doesn't restore "File send" functionality. What happens: When i send file from phone to PC it creates a temporary blank file and indicator on both devices says that file is in the process of sending/receiving. What should happen: File should've been transferred long ago. File Send works: PC(1.0.3) + Android(1.6.6) File Send doesn't work: PC(1.2) + Android(1.6.6) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=383263 --- Comment #8 from uli--- I don't know what you want with other tabs - there are other buttons like "Save" or "Save to File" buttons which I cannot reach on my laptops which have a lower resolution screen than my desktop. [valgrind] [Bug 385055] PPC VEX temporary storage exhausted
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=385055 --- Comment #7 from Carl Love--- Created attachment 108069 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=108069=edit Use vperm Iop code with minor modifications to implement the xxperm and xxpermr instructions The xxperm instructions does the same permute as the vperm instruction. The difference is the xxperm instruction works on the VSX register file and hte vperm works on the VR register file. The vperm instruction has three input registers and the xxperm has two input registers and then uses the output register as an additional input register. Basically, you can use the vperm instruction to emulate the xxperm with some register renaming. The attached patch just takes the existing vperm Iop code and tweeks it to do the xxperm and xxpermr instructions. This only generates a few Iops rather then the massive amount of iops as the previous implementation. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

Please ask in a forum of your distribution if they offer > separate packages for that (openSUSE, for example, does). I'm using Kmail. Disabling it helps only slightly. The problem is there by design. Any I/O heavy process that kicks in on startup chokes plasmashell. Like for example starting Firefox which reads its cache and other data. It's the design that needs some change IMHO. I.e. plasmashell should load fully before any intense I/O slows it down. I understand that on SSD this is not an issue, and you on the contrary want everything to start right away, to reduce log-in time. On HDD, to reduce that time different startup strategy is needed, not wild west race for I/O resources. [kate] [Bug 382674] Wrong arrow key navigation in a file with Hebrew text
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=382674 --- Comment #6 from Safa Alfulaij--- I actually found one thing that could make navigating by arrow keys uncomfertable. It's if an Arabic text file (all lines are rtl) has some empty lines in it (or you added some empty lines), where pressing left arrow will take you to the new line, and left again to the previous RTL line.
