Catalan Valencia RACV (ca-XR) test version for MacOS available

2014-07-18 Thread Jürgen Schmidt
Hi,

Catalan Valencia RACV is now 100% UI translated but it is a new language
that we had never released before. This means there is some more work
necessary and I am not sure if the change I have made are enough. A
first est version for MacOS is available under [1].

I will prepare a Windows and Linux test version as well, this versions
are all based on trunk. If it works and the builds are usable I will
merge it for AOO 4.1.1

Windows and Linux will be available later today or on Monday.

But does it make sense to use the ca help translation instead of having
a plain English help?

Thanks Jürgen,
don't worry about the help's translation, keep English originals please,
they are different grammar rules, so it's better for us don't mixing
them, we will work on it for future versions.

Thanks a lot,
Vicent

[RELEASE]: translation update today, today 1:00 pm UTC+2

2014-07-18 Thread Jürgen Schmidt
Hi,

I would like to inform you that I will grab the latest versions (for all
languages identified for an update) from Pootle today at 1:00pm UTC+2.

The reason quite simple I would like to have enough time to integrate it
and start the build over the weekend.

Thanks a lot. I installed it on an Ubuntu virtual machine and the
installation succeeded.

The Language in Options was listed at Català though:

http://people.apache.org/~pescetti/tmp/2014-07-l10n-ca-xr/screenshot-ca-xr-options.png

is that expected? (Italian as default locale is normal; that's how the
VM is setup).

Of course, I don't know differences well enough to notice if this is the
ca, ca-xv or ca-xr translation; we'll need the relevant volunteers to
comment on that. But if you were interested in knowing if it started and
operated normally, it does. I can take any other screenshots if this helps.

Regards,
  Andrea.

Proofing Tool GUI 3.0 - beta - build 62 - 18-JUL-2014

2014-07-18 Thread Marco A.G.Pinto

Hello!

I have released build 62 of PTG after months without a release:
http://marcoagpinto.cidadevirtual.pt/proofingtoolgui.html

This version has a better manual and better decoding of complex .AFF
rules and even an option to export/count the wordlist of a dictionary.

In the past I have been using unmunch for Linux to extract the wordlist
of en_GB but recently I found out that it creates 1000s of duplicates.

From now on I will use PTG V3+ to extract wordlists but please notice
that the en_GB 2.14 wordlist (.txt) is still the one from unmunch. Only
next month I will update the dictionary and the wordlist.

So far I have added over 800 words since the beginning of the month
because I am on vacation until this Friday and I had extra time to add
words and fixes.

Thanks for your time!

Kind regards from your friend,
Marco A.G.Pinto

I'll wait some time for more suggestions. Then we can put it to the

as there seem to be no objections or further comments I'll change it

Re: Catalan Valencia RACV (ca-XR) test version for MacOS available

2014-07-18 Thread Software Valencià
Jürgen those are our translations (ca-XR), I have tried the Windows
version and all programs started well, the only issue I found is, as
Andrea says, that our translation in Options is listed as Català when
should display Valencian (RACV), if this is corrected will be perfect!

In addition, we have spellchecker and synonyms dictioanries, could they
be added to our individual release?

Thanks for your work!

Re: Catalan Valencia RACV (ca-XR) test version for MacOS available

2014-07-18 Thread Jordi Codina
I am not sure if this was expected but I find this acceptable, looking at
the screenshot you sent.

I am not able to install the Windows archive version. I did not find in
Google how to install that, as I am missing the setup.exe file which I find
usually in the installable version.

Best ergards,
Jordi
