Problem with mismatched tags in Swedish translation
Hi, I checked the latest Swedish translation for potential integration in AOO 4.0.1 and got the following translation problems in the help files I hope this can be fixed immediately that we can release a Swedish version as well. So, when Juergen finds time to integrate the translation (from Pootle to the source code), within one week you will find a Swedish version there that matches what is in Pootle. This means that Johnny or other volunteers will then be able to test and review the translation. See my email from today where I listed mismatched tags in the help files. Correct error in Swedish translation for integration - need help to identify where to find string
Dear Sirs, I was going to help to correct some of the errors, but I did not manage to figure out how to find where in Pootle to look. Initially, I thought that the ID in the error message referred to the '#unit' value in the URL, but I soon realized it was not that easy. https://translate.apache.org/sv/aoo40/translate.html#unit=14331128 Any body that can help me out? /Vicinity P.S. Rewised 'editeng' and 'starmath' of Swedish translation
Dear Sirs, Today I have rewised 'editeng' and 'starmath' of the Swedish translation. I have also compared the tranlations with Norweigan, Danish, German, French and Spanish in order to assure that I have understood correctly. Swedish translation of OpenOffice 4.x

I have worked on the Swedish translation. There are now only 44 words
left. In some of these cases I am unsure what word to use because I am
not sure of in which context it is used. In a few cases it might be that
the original text in English has some error in it, because I do not
understand the meaning.
When expanding the details on the overview page, I find that there are
errosw with placeholders, escapes, printf() and XML tags.

It seems like printf() reacts on a hyphen directly after a %% expression.
In Swedish we juxtapose many words together to form a long word (like in
German). We do not have spaces between words in many cases.
Will printf() fail with the hyphen just after the %% expression?

There are many control signs inserted in the Swedish translation. Should
they be there, or not? At many places there are this type of

I noticed that Apache OpenOffice 4 still isn't available in Swedish, so I looked around a bit to see if I can help with translations or something. A quick look at https://translate.apache.org/projects/aoo40/ told me that everything is already translated to Swedish (svenska), so what's more to be done before Apache OpenOffice 4.0.0 can be released in Swedish? Sorry if this is a stupid question… It isn't a stupid question at all, but the answer is equally simple: the 100% translation you see now was done by Kasper (in CC; but please Kasper consider subscribing, or you will miss messages!) over the last few days. So: Swedish is 100% complete now, but it was still rather incomplete when we built the RC1. And it will be released officially at the earliest possible occasion. When? Well, if we have to build a RC2 we could ask Juergen to consider adding Swedish immediately to it (but this could be asking too much of Juergen, since integrating a translation is still a lengthy process). In any case, Swedish would be released with the next language update, which is not set but may be sometime in October, depending on how many new languages we have ready.
