Yes, this is why you would need to enable Unstable (or sid) in the repos.
Debian must have extensive documentation on how to do this.

You probably should enable the Debian unstable repo then, and install
it from Synaptic / aptitude / apt-get. Else you risk getting
dependency problems as you've already noticed.

Dependency is not satisfiable: libboost-signals1.62.0

Debian's synaptic has libboost-signals1.55.0+dfsg-3 as the newest
and apt-get install tells me, it can't be found:

E: Paket libboost-signals1.62.0 kann nicht gefunden werden.
E: Mittels regulärem Ausdruck »libboost-signals1.62.0« konnte kein
Paket gefunden werden

If I install this Package, gcc-6-base is asked for. But if I
install that, it says, it is already installed.

How to proceed?

I did forget to clean up the preamble. Sorry about that, I'm new to Lyx. I
filed http://www.lyx.org/trac/ticket/10588

Leslaw, could you send an example of one of your references (e.g.
article and book style)? I use jabref as a reference manager which works
under Unix, Mac and Microsoft. It has various import possibilities.
