You could try Atom and install the ConTeXt module from github.com/massifrg/language-context. Original language-context is outdated, but upstream didn’t react to mails from Massi and me. This version also isn’t perfect, but I’m using and occasionally updating it. (I should re-base it on the current work done for the wiki.) There’s also still no run command. Additionally you should install - language-latex (contains plain TeX commands) - language-lua - atom-ide-terminal (for running ConTeXt in place) - file-icons (only icon package that contains TeX icons) - pdf-view (not very good, but good enough for simple cases) Best, Hraban ___ If your question is of interest to others as well, please add an entry to the Wiki! maillist : ntg-context@ntg.nl / http://www.ntg.nl/mailman/listinfo/ntg-context webpage : http://www.pragma-ade.nl / http://context.aanhet.net archive : https://bitbucket.org/phg/context-mirror/commits/ wiki : http://contextgarden.net ___

Thank you very much, but in fact that script file "vscode-context.cmd" really just contains the same command for installing extensions as I quoted above - and so produces the same errors. Maybe I'll go back to trying SciTe - I gave it a bit of a go, but wasn't successful. Re: [NTG-context] Pre-registration for 14th ConTeXt Meeting, September 6–12, 2020
Dear list, there are ten days left for pre-registration to ConTeXt Meeting 2020 <https://meeting.contextgarden.net/2020/>. Pre-registration counts as early bird registration. In one week we will start to discuss the situation in the mailing list of participants and make a final decision whether to go on with the meeting preparations or cancel the meeting. From development in the Czech Republic so far one can guess, there will possibly be only light local restrictions (obligation to wear masks, serving only take-away food), if needed. The abstracts <https://meeting.contextgarden.net/2020/abstracts.shtml> of some talks are already available. We have fifteen pre-registered participants <https://meeting.contextgarden.net/2020/participants.shtml>, just enough to make the meeting possible. People will mostly arrive by car, some on foot or by bus/train. We have space for ten more participants. If you have never been at the meeting, do not hesitate to pre-register <https://meeting.contextgarden.net/2020/register.shtml> with discounts. Those who visited Sibřina two years ago already know what to expect (talks, friends, food, wine, beer, music, countryside, ...). Close to the capital, but far enough to be safe for the whole week. Actually, translating 6,300 keywords isn't fun, and it's even worst when you don't really master the material behind... but i guess you learn a lot in the process The point is that I am sad to not be able to offer the use of ConTeXt (such a great piece of software) to friends and childrens. And ConTeXt complexity or ConTeXt documentation are not the first hurdles. indeed (which is why for instance we use the dutch for e.g. family members) most users actually can do with a limited set of commands to start with ... and writing a tutorial for that is doable ... it's still on my agenda to come up with something for kids and translated interfaces are needed for that (unless we ditch all languages for english .. but if that happens, we can actually do without tex because a large portion, at least in context, is dedicated to dealing with scripts and languages) When you start with a new software, a new methodology, having first to struggle with vocabulary in a foreign language is definitively a (BIG) thorn in your side (in fact, usually you just don't start). Many popular softwares offer multi-language early in their development (netscape / firefox, scratch, wordpress, krita...). ConTeXt did it, the infrastructure is ready, the translations exist, at least partially or at an early stage. indeed, it was there right from the start ... as a historic note: the reason what that we had a subsystem for chemistry which could be configured usinng key values (we're talking early nineties) and in order to be used in german we made the multi lingual interface (after that the english and others lists were added) .. the german was done with Tobias Burnus who also helped with the early multi language support) context goes along way back ... And when I started to use it, I thought that it could easily be improved and updated without requiring any Tex / Lua skills. One remark : I was wrong, I spend hours to put all the content (from mult-def and context-en.xml) in a simple csv table and building quick scripts to put it back in mult-def. (normally i then put up some music or a movies i already saw before in the background or some podcast or ...) > With our small developer and user base we struggle enough with keeping > documentation current. Struggle likely appears about not-so-trivial needs. It's a shame not to use it in Italian / Russian / Chinese / French etc... for a letter, for a 10 to 20 pages report, for an internal note. exactly ... (btw, tex promotion is often tight to scientific publishing but the interesting fact there is that as soon as you drop the formulas it often doesn't look that pretty any more .. another property of context is that users should be able to make a nice layout) All the more so as the software allows it. The point is that the interface just deserves a minimal update and documentation, and that, as you point it, the small developer and user base doesn't have time to do it. indeed, and sorry for not keeping it up to date Hans - Hans Hagen | PRAGMA ADE Ridderstraat 27 | 8061 GH Hasselt | The Netherlands tel: 038 477 53 69 | www.pragma-ade.nl | www.pragma-pod.nl - ___ If your question is of interest to others as well, please add an entry to the Wiki! maillist : ntg-context@ntg.nl / http://www.ntg.nl/mailman/listinfo/ntg-context webpage : http://www.pragma-ade.nl / http://context.aanhet.net archive : https://bitbucket.org/phg/context-mirror/commits/ wiki : http://contextgarden.net ___

Re: [NTG-context] Store images and text in the right margin
Hi Taco, Thank you for your help. What I want to do is write a course for my students, and the definitions, theorems ... will be illustrated by graphs, examples, remarks ... placed in the right margin. The idea is to consider that a text or a graphic is an element to place in the right margin without worrying about the nature and that a single command does the job. What you are proposing goes in the right direction. However, I noticed a little problem with the hyphenation. Each block is in its own file. That makes editing one whole manual somewhat tedious, but pays off if you recycle the same blocks. E.g. each block is only translated once, even if it appears in several manuals (think of security instructions or legal stuff that is the same in all). Each block has an explicite change date to keep track of the state of the different translations. The two main files of each product are one that contains just a few settings and one that pulls in all the needed building blocks. [NTG-context] Pre-registration for 14th ConTeXt Meeting, September 6–12, 2020
Dear ConTeXt users! The 14th ConTeXt Meeting <https://meeting.contextgarden.net/2020/> in the Czech Republic is in preparation as originally planned. As nobody is able to predict the situation in September, we have started pre-registration only and will discuss conditions at the end of July via the mailing list of pre-registered participants. We will take into account up-to-date travel restrictions and health risks and make the final decision on July 31, 2020, based also on the number of pre-registrations. Till then no payment is wanted. All pre-registered participants qualify for early bird discount to be paid during the first week of August. Pre-registration doesn't bind you to pay or attend the meeting. The ConTeXt Group board has discussed other options (on-line meeting, postponing the meeting), but these are unlikely to happen, in case the meeting is cancelled. *14th ConTeXt Meeting* *September 6–12, 2020, Sibřina, Czech Republic* For the second time we will held the meeting at the friendly farm U Škodů, at the eastern border of Prague. See the gallery from 2018 <http://kostverlorenvaart.nl/context2018/> by Frans Goddijn. Topics will cover usage and development of LuaMetaTeX, ConTeXt, and everything related. Each meeting is source of inspiration for everybody, from beginner to expert. Friendly company is always looking for meeting new participants, users of LuaTeX, LuaMetaTeX, ConTeXt, Metapost, etc. There is a special discount for those, who attend the meeting for the first time and for students. Also ConTeXt Group members are qualified for the discount, so consider joining the group. Re: [NTG-context] Proposal to update the "Manuals" wiki page
Hello Garulfo, thanks for the great work! Two suggestions: 1. Obsolete manuals: Could their pictures be scratched somehow? One will see on the first sight that he is to investigate "no-more-valid" stuff. 2. Could you add a "download all manuals" hlink/button next to each (sub)title to download appropriate manuals as .zip, so to get: " Up-to-date Documentation (title) [download-all-up-to-date-manuals-in-this-section-inc-subsections (hlink)] ... Graphics and Colors (subtitle) [download-all-graphics-and-colors-manuals-inc-subsections (hlink)] ... " - IMHO it would be good for offline users (and for those who prefer printed form). Dear Weber Mattias, Please see page 10 of “mathalign.pdf” made by Aditya. He showed the way of writing aligned math including matrices. For example, \startformula \startmatrix[left={\left(\,},right={\,\right)}] \NC 1 \NC 0 \NC 0 \NR \NC 0 \NC 1 \NC 0 \NR \NC 0 \NC 0 \NC 1 \NR \stopmatrix \stopformula There are many other examples that you can use. Re: [NTG-context] Vertical lines in matrices
Thanks Jeong, I was aware of this. While there is no solution that adds vertical lines into matrices, one can juxtapose two (or more) of them with properly chosen delimiters, like so: \definemathmatrix [bvmatrix] [left={\left(\,},right={\ \right\vert}] \definemathmatrix [rbmatrix] [left={\left.\,},right={\,\right)}] \starttext \startformula \startbvmatrix \NC 0 \NC 0\NC 0 \NR \NC 1 \NC 0\NC 1 \NR \stopbvmatrix \startrbmatrix \NC 0 \NR \NC 1 \NR \stoprbmatrix \stopformula \stoptext > On May 4, 2020, at 04:25, Jeong Dal wrote: > > Dear Weber Mattias, > > Please see page 10 of “mathalign.pdf” made by Aditya. > He showed the way of writing aligned math including matrices. > For example, > > \startformula > > \startmatrix[left={\left(\,},right={\,\right)}] > > \NC 1 \NC 0 \NC 0 \NR > \NC 0 \NC 1 \NC 0 \NR > \NC 0 \NC 0 \NC 1 \NR > > \stopmatrix > \stopformula > There are many other examples that you can use. > > Best regards, > Dalyoung > >> Message: 2 >> Date: Sun, 3 May 2020 17:47:24 + >> From: "Weber, Matthias" >> To: mailing list for ConTeXt users >> Subject: [NTG-context] Vertical lines in matrices >> Message-ID: >> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8" >> >> Dear List, >> >> I am trying to get vertical (separating) lines into matrices, as is possible >> in tables: >> >> \starttext >> \startformula >> \left( >> \starttable[|c|c|c|] >> \NC 0 \NC 0\VL 0 \FR >> \NC 1 \NC 0\VL 1 \FR >> \stoptable >> \right) >> \stopformula >> \stoptext >> > > > ___ > If your question is of interest to others as well, please add an entry to the > Wiki! > > maillist : ntg-context@ntg.nl / http://www.ntg.nl/mailman/listinfo/ntg-context > webpage : http://www.pragma-ade.nl / http://context.aanhet.net > archive : https://bitbucket.org/phg/context-mirror/commits/ > wiki : http://contextgarden.net > ___ ___ If your question is of interest to others as well, please add an entry to the Wiki! maillist : ntg-context@ntg.nl / http://www.ntg.nl/mailman/listinfo/ntg-context webpage : http://www.pragma-ade.nl / http://context.aanhet.net archive : https://bitbucket.org/phg/context-mirror/commits/ wiki : http://contextgarden.net ___
Re: [NTG-context] Basic font question (Optima, but no bold, no italics). Standalone ConTeXt does not work. TeX Live 2019 works
Although this specific issue might have been solved meanwhile by the helpful suggestions of Wolfang, Thomas and others, I would like to point out that I have recently also encountered an odd behaviour of the mtxrun fontloader in the standalone, in which not all typefaces are available/properly identified. (I’m sorry to hijack this thread if this is unrelated.) Basically, when I load “Helvetica Neue”, I get instead of “regular/normal” always “light/italic”. I have switched to heros for the meantime, but potentially there is some bug behind this. (My documents with the version from Dec/Jan worked fine.) I recite my example from Wed: ConTeXt ver: 2020.01.30 14:13 MKIV beta fmt: 2020.4.22 (LuaTeX 1.11.1) and I’m running now into troubles with system font indexing: mtxrun --script fonts --reload locates fonts in macOS directories appropriately (*.afm fonts placed in .../tex/texmf-fonts are not found, but at the moment I don’t care too much), however it resolves only to a single font variant for *.ttc instead of all variants: mtxrun --script fonts --list --all --pattern=helvetica helvetica helvetica helveticalightoblique /System/Library/Fonts/Helvetica.ttc 6 helveticalightoblique helvetica helveticalightoblique /System/Library/Fonts/Helvetica.ttc 6 helveticaneuedeskinterfaceheavy helveticaneuedeskinterface helveticaneuedeskinterfaceheavy /System/Library/Fonts/HelveticaNeueDeskInterface.ttc 10 helveticaneuethinitalic helveticaneue helveticaneuethinitalic /System/Library/Fonts/HelveticaNeue.ttc 14 As a consequence, when I run \definefontfamily[mainface][ss][Helvetica Neue] \setupbodyfont[mainface, 12pt, sans] I get the light oblique variant instead of the regular one. I have tried to fix this via a \definefontfamily[mainface][ss][Helvetica Neue][tf=style:normal] but apparently I understand too little about this setup altogether … Thanks already for any suggestions! > On 24 Apr 2020, at 08:53, ntg-context-requ...@ntg.nl wrote: > > Send ntg-context mailing list submissions to > ntg-context@ntg.nl > > To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit > https://mailman.ntg.nl/mailman/listinfo/ntg-context > or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to > ntg-context-requ...@ntg.nl > > You can reach the person managing the list at > ntg-context-ow...@ntg.nl > > When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific > than "Re: Contents of ntg-context digest..." > Today's Topics: > > 1. Re: [NTG-context] Hyphentation/Linebreak after x characters
Hi Rik, Thanks for the fast reply! Your example works indeed nicely. However, within this solution my problem has shifted now (fully) towards breaking after the same number of characters, which seems to work for your sample string, but not for the sequences that I need to place. What I would like to achieve is something like: 5’-GATTGCTTACTCCTGGTTGG TCTTACATTCTGTCGCCTC CTACTAGAGCCGGCATATT CTAGAAGGGCCGCCTTCATGTGG etc. (There might be hyphens or not, this is not so much important to me.) But what I get is currently: 5'-GATTGCTTACTCCTG- GTTGGTCTTACATTCT- GTCGCCTCCTACTA- GAGCCGGCATATTCTA- GAAGGGCCGCCTTCATGTGGC- etc. Which looks ragged with \tt. Certainly, this is because ConTeXt applies the default hyphenation pattern. But I guess, there might be no “no language” pattern or is there? Also, I agree, it’s a bit odd that nright/nleft seem to make no difference towards the result. This is the MWE based on your solution: \define[2]\mycommandc{ \startxrow \startxcell o#1 \stopxcell \startxcell \tt\WORD{5'-#2} \stopxcell \stopxrow } \definebreakpoint[mybreaks][][nright=100,nleft=100,type=1] \setbreakpoints[mybreaks] \starttext \setupxtable[width=5cm] \startxtable \mycommandc{C}{GATTGCTTACTCCTGGTTGGTCTTACATTCTGTCGCCTCCTACTAGAGCCGGCATATTCTAGAAGGGCCGCCTTCATGTGGCCTAGGGCACCATCGCGTACGAGGGCAATGAGTTTACCGCTGCGAAGTCTCTACGTCACGGCCAACCACAGTCCTGCTCCCAACGAAATTTAGACGCTGTCGTGAAACCTGAATTCGAGGATAAGCCGCGTCATGAAGAGTCTACTG} \stopxtable \stoptext > On 23 Apr 2020, at 22:02, ntg-context-requ...@ntg.nl wrote: > > Send ntg-context mailing list submissions to > ntg-context@ntg.nl > > To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit > https://mailman.ntg.nl/mailman/listinfo/ntg-context > or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to > ntg-context-requ...@ntg.nl > > You can reach the person managing the list at > ntg-context-ow...@ntg.nl > > When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific > than "Re: Contents of ntg-context digest..." > Today's Topics: > > 1. [NTG-context] Fwd: Adding optional enumeration text to framed enumeration header
Sorry, I resend my question because I forgot the subject -- Forwarded message - De: Jairo A. del Rio Date: sáb., 18 de abr. de 2020 a la(s) 23:53 Subject: To: mailing list for ConTeXt users I've seen the following solution in Stack Exchange to add referenceable enumeration labels to a framed enumeration environment: https://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/438588/context-and-metafun-framed-enumeration-with-counter-as-part-of-overlay It uses \wrappedcurrentconstruction. [NTG-context] Fwd: Using Lua files in project structure
-- Forwarded message - De: Jairo A. del Rio Date: lun., 6 de abr. de 2020 a la(s) 08:58 Subject: Re: [NTG-context] Using Lua files in project structure To: Wolfgang Schuster Well, I'll be more specific. I attach a zip file showing a minimal example of what I achieved so far and its output (labelled "Works") and what I actually want, but does not work (labelled "Doesnotwork"). I've tried different commands and combinations, all of them useless. As a side note, I'm porting some TikZ functions. Although it is not recommended in ConTeXt, some of them are really necessary to me. [NTG-context] splitted xtable with repeating headers and placetable
Hello, Code below shows some behaviour I cannot explain (csv file attached): - If I run the code below as is, I get what I want, except that the header line of the table does not repeat at the top of each page. - Changing "split=yes" to "split=repeat" in the setupxtable gives me repeating headers, but the table starts at the second page, leaving the first page with only the text line and all the rest as blank spaces. - Placing the table in a float by activating the 3 commented lines gives me an error ("extra } or forgotten endgroup") pointing to the external figure in my page header overlay. Replacing the \placefigure. in the page header by ordinary text makes the error go away, but is no solution, since I need the company logo picture there, and even then with no error, the headers do not repeat. - With the table in a float, I manage to get repeating headers when I change to "split=yes" and "headers=repeat" in the \setupxtable, but I still get the abovementioned error as soon as I want to put my figure back in the page header.. Any suggestions ? But I now think that after the last statement foo[1] equals 5. Very weird/counterintuitive that y[a] := 5 works here without the use of scantokens. The first one is less weird to me because scantokens actually calls the METAPOST parser on a string as if read from a file. > or you could use global variables, of course. > > Main point: Metapost is not an easy language to grasp. The main problem with all of this (ConTeXt, METAPOST, etc.) remains the learning curve and the lack of good and up-to-date educational materials. I.e. the METAPOST manual is terse, probably because it relies on people understanding the background that is in the METAFONT book. And, if one is used to thinking in terms of functional programming, all that ‘expansion’ stuff (‘replacement’ programming?) is very counterintuitive for me. Lua then adds a functional model to the mix (or I think it does). Very hard to make progress. I learned Python in a day and produced a complex program in a matter of weeks. This is far less easy. And not being able so far to see what intermediate results lea to errors adds to the slow going. Hello Wolfgang, after a few attempts that didn't work I copy-pasted the example from the wiki: \definetyping[C][option=commands]\startC #include int main(){ return 0; /BTEX{\em unreachedCode;}/ETEX}\stopC This did not work. Don't forget to 'source ~/.bashrc' afterwards. > 2) avoid putting [lmtx path]/bin in PATH, Yes, this could be a solution too, in my opinion. > 3) putting [lmtx path]/bin _after_ [lmtx path]/tex/texmf-linux-64/bin in > the PATH > > I'm asking here because option 1 is correct but not very handy, while 2) > and 3) are different from what the installer says and they seemed to give > other problems when I tried them. I hope this helps you! At least in the case you're using linux. Anyway, I made new zips so maybe one needs to reinstall (using the installer zip). It installs okay on wsl so probably also on other linuxes. This version (luametatex 2.03.3) has (again) a little smaller mem footprint as I still want it all to perforem ok on relative small devices or vm's and as side effect a bit smaller format file, not that that matters much (compared to general mem usage). There is not much to gain anyway, in terms of memory usage and performance so it's more an occasional challenge than a neccessity I guess. Anyway, hopefully nothing got broken. Peter Rolf and I are updating some of the pdf validation related stuff (additional formats), so that can be in flux. I did not succeed … Indeed I had to disable completely the Gatekeeper from the Terminal by issuing the command sudo spctl --master-disable (which, one can re-enable again by saying sudo spctl --master-enable). But the problem is that after issuing the command sh install.sh the three files mtx-install.lua, mtxrun.lua, mtxrun, which are in /context-osx-64/bin/ get overwritten and are modified for some unknown reasons: in particular the two lua files become complete garbage… while in MacOS 10.14 these files are unchanged. So in fact the installation process cannot continue in MacOS 10.15, and even though the directories in /context-osx-64/tex/ are created, the binaries and the formats are not there. I guess other people on the list may have installed LuaMetaTeX under MacOS 10.15 and they can help us understand what is going on. Later in the day I'll try to understand how to bypass the security assessments (and the overwrite of the above three files) of MacOS 10.15, and let you know if I find a solution. [NTG-context] Impacts Project
Hi list! Thank you for helping to answer so many questions and remove so many roadblocks with my project. The result is a photobook written in Markdown, piped through pandoc to generate ConTeXt code, then stylized using a series of .tex files. The coolest ConTeX part, IMO, is the orange dot in the timeline. Using MetaPost, the date for the timeline is read directly from the document, then plotted relative to the \overlaywidth. Changing the date in the Markdown document winds up repositioning the timeline dot automagically. https://impacts.to/ The book is going to be released under a CC BY 4.0 license, including all the source code necessary to generate the book. Meanwhile, if anyone is interested in nabbing a copy of the PDF, let me know (preferably via the web form). Again, my sincerest gratitude, this project would have been a much more time-consuming and arduous journey without your generous help. ___ If your question is of interest to others as well, please add an entry to the Wiki! maillist : ntg-context@ntg.nl / http://www.ntg.nl/mailman/listinfo/ntg-context webpage : http://www.pragma-ade.nl / http://context.aanhet.net archive : https://bitbucket.org/phg/context-mirror/commits/ wiki : http://contextgarden.net ___

Last time I had to use Word’s formula editor it was horrible, but that was in 2005 or so, and Microsoft did their homework since. put. But I’m always planning a lot. Sorry for pratting, got nostalgic. The JS editors I know of allow for custom menus, and it should be easy to setup special divs for these warning sections. I don’t know any good table or formula editors/plugins, though. I’m not up to date, but I guess with a graphical/“WYSIWYG” tool you’ll never get perfectly structured input and will never be able to address finer details of typography, esp. WRT math. (Remember what Hans told us about Pragma’s ASCIImath workflow.) Also, what Massi said. He has more extensive and more current experience than me. Re: [NTG-context] passing variables/data between context and lua
Rudolf Bahr schrieb am 06.10.2019 um 07:11: Hello Wolfgang, what exactly does the command "\setvariable{martin}{set}{\directsetup{martin}}"? Let's start with a simple example where I set a values with the \setvariables command. \setvariables [metadata] [author=Rudolf Bahr, date=\currentdate] \starttext \getvariable{metadata}{author}\par \getvariable{metadata}{date} \stoptext The main point of the command is that you can choose whatever name you want for the keys to store the values. Instead a using a list of values to store in a key-value-method you can also pass values to single keys with the \setvariable command, e.g. \setvariable{metatdata}{author}{Rudolf Bahr}. While it is true that you're free to choose the name for the keys there are two keys with a special meaning, these two keys are "reset" and "set". The value of the "reset" key is used before the values in \setvariables are stored while "set" is used after the values are stored. I don't understand it. Has it something to do with "Command/datasetvariable"? No, this is a different mechanism to save values between different ConTeXt runs which allows one to access values before they are set. Especially what does "\directsetup"? When you access the content of a setups-environment you can use the \setups command (with a trailing s) to pass a list of setups or the \setup command, both commands allow you to use braces or brackets as delimiters for the argument. The \directsetup skips the check for the argument form and allows only braces as delimiter. \startsetups[example-1] \startparagraph First example! \stopparagraph \stopsetups \startsetups[example-2] \startparagraph Second example! \stopparagraph \stopsetups \starttext \setups[example-1,example-2] \blank \setups{example-1,example-2} \blank \setup[example-1] \setup[example-2] \blank \setup{example-1} \setup{example-2} \blank \directsetup{example-1} \directsetup{example-2} \stoptext Wolfgang ___ If your question is of interest to others as well, please add an entry to the Wiki! maillist : ntg-context@ntg.nl / http://www.ntg.nl/mailman/listinfo/ntg-context webpage : http://www.pragma-ade.nl / http://context.aanhet.net archive : https://bitbucket.org/phg/context-mirror/commits/ wiki : http://contextgarden.net ___

This appears to be related to that. Should be fixed in the next beta. I have a chicken-egg issue to solve (probebly in the end have to drop something for consistency deep down) can you use for now: \date[d=21,m=2,y=2219] [month,{ },D,{, },year] \date[d=22,m=12,y=2119][month,{ },D,{, },year] -- - Hans Hagen | PRAGMA ADE Ridderstraat 27 | 8061 GH Hasselt | The Netherlands tel: 038 477 53 69 | www.pragma-ade.nl | www.pragma-pod.nl - ___ If your question is of interest to others as well, please add an entry to the Wiki! maillist : ntg-context@ntg.nl / http://www.ntg.nl/mailman/listinfo/ntg-context webpage : http://www.pragma-ade.nl / http://context.aanhet.net archive : https://bitbucket.org/phg/context-mirror/commits/ wiki : http://contextgarden.net ___
Re: [NTG-context] Problem of displaying a date with a macro
Hi, On my installation of lmtx (version 2019.08.20 17:34), as well as mkiv (version 2019.08.24 22:42 MKIV) the following gives: \starttext \date[d=25,m=10,y=1999] \stoptext October 09, 1999. So the month and the year are correct, but not the day. Hi Fabrice, I confirm that latest beta (from 2019.09.09 13:44), doesn’t change the date in the following sample: \starttext \date[d=25] \stoptext I hope it helps, Pablo -- http://www.ousia.tk ___ If your question is of interest to others as well, please add an entry to the Wiki! maillist : ntg-context@ntg.nl / http://www.ntg.nl/mailman/listinfo/ntg-context webpage : http://www.pragma-ade.nl / http://context.aanhet.net archive : https://bitbucket.org/phg/context-mirror/commits/ wiki : http://contextgarden.net ___
