PDML Photo Annual: Almost there!

2017-04-15 Thread Mark Roberts
Doug sent me the foreword today and I've got it all formatted and
pasted in place. And I also finished up the Global Health Initiative
update section. So... the only thing left to do is the back cover. I
need to shoot a photo for the design I have in mind but I think I'll
be able to get that taken care of tomorrow.

With a little luck I should be able to upload the book and order a
test print tomorrow evening (Sunday).

Why do you say that? I'm curious.

What I most like about EVF cameras is that you can see precisely, live, what
your exposure is going to be AND the Depth of Field at taking aperture. They
work great for table top and setups. And you have incredibly precise framing
and focusing capabilities. And you can use a large format tablet or tethered
operation with a laptop to remotely control the camera and see framing and
focusing on a large scale display as well with most EVF cameras.

What would make these qualities poor for studio work?

Re: For Jay Taylor: Yahoo! email issues

I wonder if Yahoo changed something. I just came across a similarly mangled
email from a Yahoo user on another list.

See if maybe this gets through or get bounced ...

It might be rich-text encoding from a text editor used to compose messages.

PESO: Swan on the Seine

Our river cruise boat was docked just North of Paris, on the Seine River.
I opened the curtains to see where we were, and was pleasantly surprised to
see this swan swimming just a few feet outside our picture window.
