I find that a lot of courses I've been required to take were just to check a box on somebody's form. Learning seemed to be completely incidental, and possibly counter productive. Yes and even then the rights of the minority are often trampled on because as noble as we, or our society views itself, when there's a crisis, or when the majority view becomes so overwhelming, or when those in power become so blind to the needs of the lesser, rights are essentially foregone. I'm not engaging in hyperbole when stating that Hitler used what he described as the group rights of the majority to exterminate Jews. I like individual rights. Everyone has them, without exception.
