Not to make excuses, since the major problem was my fault, but I had set the ISO for 160, I should have bumped that up to 800 or so based on the light conditions. So exposure speed was about 1/5 second. There was probably some subject movement, and some photographer movement that the SR system couldn't entirely compensate. As for the framing there were distracting elements on the right hand side of the frame, which I composed around, and I ended up cropping quite a bit anyway. There are times when I wish for a "fast" normal zoom in the 16-50mm range, but I still haven't found the one I actually want to own or pay full price for. PS: I spent some 19 years in the Middle East, North Africa & the CIS where Hookah smoking, Turkish Coffee & Nuts are a pastime. Here in India Hookah was very common, but not now because of health concerns. I still have my Dad's Hookah painted in 24 Carat Gold, silver mouth piece with the tubing braided in Gold Thread. My Grandma would smoke the smaller hand held version. There were some (4) four Tobacconist - all Moslems - in our neighborhood, who would make fresh moist Tobacco balls in some (18) Flavors to order. My Dad preferred the "Spicy" and my Grand Mom the "Sweet" type. I have a small supply in the Freezer from my Birth place Patna some 2100 Km up north from Bangalore my home town. Down South there are no Tobacconists. PJ Sir, pretty good picture considering dusk time and street lighting. A bit unsharp though and you left space at the LHS instead of including more of the HOOKAH on the RHS. I haven't posted anything in a while, and I was out and about tonight and figured I'd try a little street photography.
