Do a search in the issue tracker (issues.plkr.org) and see if something
similar was reported. If not, open a new incident so it can be tracked.

A quick query shows that 1506, 1352, 1316 and 1308 might be related.

Thanks.

Are there releases later than 1.8 available?

2006-05-20 Thread Jeffrey DeLeo
I've been using version 1.8 (from May 2004) for several years. It works
well, but occasionally causes the Palm to reset (this bug has been
discussed on this list).

I tried downloading latest snapshot build, which does seem to look
better, but it does not support 5-way navigator.

Were there any builds since 1.8 which have been made available as
alpha/beta, with support for 5-way navigator?

What device do you have? I'm running a recent snapshot, and 5WayNav
support is at least partially there on my Tapwave Zodiac 2, which
substitutes an analog joystick for the Tungsten style DPad.

Is Activate custom arrow keys checked and configured in Plucker preferences?

Hi Dennis,
I've got a palm Tx. I tried setting and clearing Activate custom arrow
keys and it didn't work in the snap I downloaded last night.

H. I know 5WayNav support is in the code, but the build was
broken and it wasn't being compiled in. That was fixed the last I
knew.

Make sure Custom Arrow Keys is both checked and *defined*. Plucker
lets you choose what actions are taken when a key is pressed, and the
default is None. Check it, tap an arrow key, then tap the box above
and specify what action you wish from the drop down list.

If you've done that already, either the build is broken again, or the
TX is doing something odd with 5WayNav support.

OK, I just grabbed the snap on the website dated 05/20/06 12:04:32 AM,
viewer_en.prc.

I can only use the up/down action of the 5-way navigator. Looking at the
dialog you mention, it only allows setting actions for up/down arrows,
and the 4 custom keys. Also on that same buttons dialog, the OK Cancel
buttons do not draw properly (mostly occluded).
