CSNori for minerals

2010-11-16 Thread Tad Winiecki
Thanks for the idea, Melly, Nori does taste better than regular kelp. I
actually have a jar of roasted Teriyaki Nori sheets I've been working on
finishing off lately. I never thought of toasting it myself. I looked
at google about kelp and algae being useful for heavy metal and
radioactive detoxification, perhaps I should consider it as a
replacement for my colloidal minerals, or at least for a backup if I
can't get them someday. That's fascinating about your results with the
DMSO.

CSMagnets Gauss measurement

2010-11-16 Thread Neville Munn

Anyone know anything about the Gauss measurement of magnets?

Specifically, magnets out of a microwave magnetron. As one would be aware if
familiar, those magnets are like a donut, or a very thick washer in shape.

I'm interested in the Gauss measurement of the *inside* of the hole in the
centre. Don't know if that measurement would be the same as either the north
or south pole of the faces of the magnet.

Secondary to the above...would the centre hole be distinctly north or south in
polarity, or would that be impossible to determine due to the fact that it's a
hole, or circular in shape? Or a combination of both in such a restriced area?

Anyone got any idea of what the Gauss meter reading would be?

My query *IS* in relation to EIS/CS by the way...{experimental}.

Kefir is healthy for you because it has something like 42 different strains
of friendly bacteria [probiotics]. That's way more than in yogurt or any
probiotic pill. Also, usually store bought kefir does not have the amount of
friendly bacteria as fresh made. In my opinion drinking kefir is one of the
better things you can do for your body.

Can you explain how you do this (particularly with the ACV).

One way you can make ACV cheaper is to buy one of the bottles with the
mother and then add some (half cup or so) to a gallon of unpasteurized
cider. It will eventually turn to ACV. You can also use a juicer with apples
and do the same thing.

I've never heard of adding probiotics to stuff though (except to milk when

The true process to make apple cider vinegar is to first ferment the apple
juice into hard cider which is alcoholic. This takes an introduction of yeast
to ferment the juice. Then after you have the alcoholic cider, you add the
mother (bacteria) which will convert the alcohol to acetic acid (vinegar).

RE: CSquit smoking .. FACTORIES PUT ADDICTIVES IN .. sounds familiar?

2010-11-16 Thread Faith Saint Francis

Okay,
I saw this thread, and I was reminded of my own struggle, more than 25 years
ago.
Why is it so hard to stop?
Well: little known FACT is that the manufacturers (the smokers' factories) put
a sauce, a liquid, in the tobacco which is addictive. This is held secret for
the public; would the governments know?
Now, so many years later, an almost health-freak who does no smoke, does not
drink, and does not' a few things more, it has become clear to me that there is
another factor: These toxins are stored, accumulated, in our reserves of body
fat; one of the seasons drug addicts have quite a job to be unhooked from their
lousy, incapacitating habit.
One remark I read in the thread is a Bingo: You have to WANT to stop, for
without that basis you can do whatever you may think of .. you'll get back to
smoking.
Anyone interested in how I stopped?
Just for the fun of it: I started doing yoga, and then stopped for quite a
while and ... started again. And even though 'that first one' was an awful
-indeed a horrible- attack on my lungs (sounds familiar?) I did stay on it
again; it was so 'social' .. you are 'one witta gang', yeah!
Then (1979), I ended up on the island where I have spent all the years after. I
remember how many half-smoked packets I threw away (sounds familiar?)
Then, we started doing demanding sports: running, deep diving (SCUBA) and
weight-lifting, and that did it.
Threw away another package, and never touched cigarettes, or any tobacco again!
Anecdote, now that we are on it: A few months later I went with my class of
kids to the beach, and yeahhh! One little girl stepped into a black sea-urchin.
That hurts bad, I can tell you from my own experience.
Now one (just ONE) first aid trick helps: putting the hot cone of a cigarette d
i r e c t l y on the affected skin of the foot, as fast a s possible. So I
asked one of the accompanying mothers for a cigarette, and I do remember her
astonished face, after all these years ..teacher smoking?.. Well! I lit that
thing, and without really wanting to -you won't loose the reflex, my friends-
pulled the smoke deeply into my lungs. I though I died!
Anyway, the black thorns did come out at once, and the little girl was taken
further care of by those loving accompanying Moms.
And I? I never touched cigarettes again.

us but when sick we also use the netti pot (same formula). The DMSO will
help carry the CS thru mucus.

Put the CS in the nebulizer. Then spray it into the mouth while breathing
 in via the mouth.

At ranch supply stores that sell horse feed and supplies.  We use the 99.9%
DMSO.  Great stuff.  There is a fantastic book about it's uses but I don't have
it close to tell you the author.

CSRe: Quit Smoking

2010-11-16 Thread Melly Bag

I used to smoke 2.5 packs a day.  One day in year 2000,  i had a chest xray and
everything was nice and clear. I conditioned my mind that i should quit now
while i am ahead. So i quit cold turkey, aided by ice cold water, and a brand
new computer and it kept my mind busy all day hardly noticing the cravings.
Before i quit, i put two cartons of cigarettes in the freezer, so in my mind i
am not actually being deprived coz it is right there within my reach.  So it
became a matter of self control.  It is difficult after eating and while
drinking coffee.  I sucked on ice a lot too.

It is really determination.

I posted that article that said Dr. Howensteine has great success with
megadoses of Vit C. It makes me wonder if liposomal C could be very
effective at treating addiction.

CSRe:Sauerkraut

2010-11-16 Thread Melly Bag
We put the cabbage through the juicer. Then we put them together in the crock.
Put a bit of salt and pineapple, put a heavy plate over it, then cover with
plastic, set it on top of fridge.  In three days time we get good kraut.  Hubby
drinks the juice which is good for body.

CSRe: Nori for minerals

2010-11-16 Thread beitharmony
The reason why the kelp cannot be harvested anymore is due to the
pollution as you mentioned, but this pollution is primarily the end
result of the massive whale slaughters that have taken place in Japan
over these many years. The whales would have gladly taken care of any
pollution in the area - and the kelp and other friendly flora and fauna
would still be there.

Actually, the regrettable research takes place mostly in Antarctica I
believe. I'm not sure whether it has any significant bearing on kelp harvest
around coastal Japan.

The whale meat, which I've seen in the grocery, has almost no market; it's
baffling that the whalers persist in this, and that the government backs them.
The meat itself is full of mercury. Informed people know that it's dangerous
to eat.
