Greetings, everyone:

With our fearless leader MIA and no clear consensus of what the group
wants to do, I'm going to bid you all a farewell! Over the years, this
has been one of my favorite lists to be a part of.

I am going to be reviving my old silver yahoo list, only because there
are still about 450 members. It's been quiet on that list for a long
time, mainly because most of what needed to be said about silver has
been said.

However, that is changing. While the Eskimo silver list has been pretty
sleepy, researchers out there have continued to pioneer new methods.
There is also quite a bit of new research in the nano particle world.

If anyone has an interest in more advanced topics and wishes to join,
you would be welcome. On this list, however, topics off health and
silver are not tolerated at all. A zero tolerance policy means I simply
remove the member, rather than debate the matter! :)

This newly revised list will be great for people who:

..want to know how to make a product very similar to Mesosilver at home.

want to know how to encapsulate silver ions for transport into the body.

want to know how to make a 100+ PPM particulate silver colloid using
the chemistry method.

want to know how to make a 50 PPM electrically isolated ionic silver
solution (the "glass ceiling" of 24-25 PPM of silver ions in solution
has been broken. It turns out, that was a false glass ceiling).

..want to study the potential toxic effects of silver. My list has
always looked at both sides of all of the story. A select few warned
people that EIS CAN cause argyria, even as we were chastised for doing
so. We really need to look at the cytotoxicity of silver colloids as
more and more people on the "cutting edge" are creating higher and
higher parts per million colloids.

https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/silvermedicine/info

I'm not yet ready to start publishing formulations and methods, but I'm
getting closer! As always, the project is about a collaboration between
like minded individuals, for the benefit of everyone.

I wish you well!

~Jason

The silver list was the first health discussion group I joined when we
went on line over 20 years ago. Some names disappeared, others stayed
quiet. I'm quiet, all i could contribute are thanks to the people who are
active. And I save a lot of time busybodying on line when people post the
gossip, the rumours. Because I thought I was soon going to be unable to
conduct any kind of mail I closed down my groups to save family some
trouble one day, but couldn't bear to leave the Silver List. But I got
 better, and enjoy it all.

I am so grateful when people mention various remedies, as I forget
them otherwise. I loved the info about bicarb and CS too, and have a
little jar mixed up ready. .

It's unbelievable to me how much I forget so quickly. Thanks to those
who repeat themselves and other people.

For anyone looking for a little extra, please investigate LDN Low Dose
Naltrexone. The yahoo LDN discussion groups have gone to Facebook which I
don't do, but it is astonishing how many different problems are being
helped with this oldish drug used in tiny quantities. I'll post some links.
I follow the protocol used by cancer specialist Prof Angus Dalgleish of St
George's Hospital, London, three days on and three days off, with CBD on
the off days as a protocol for cancer, but there are also experienced
practitiosilners in Canada and America, arising out of research conducted
over the past quarter century, Bihari being a notable name to research. On
 YouTube too.

I'll leave it here, but will post some links in due course.

 Love to you all.

LDN is most commonly being used for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, multiple
sclerosis, myalgic encephalopathy, autoimmune thyroid diseases, and various
cancers. Many autoimmune diseases seem to respond to LDN.

Levo-Naltrexone is an antagonist for the opiate/endorphin receptors

- This causes increased endorphin release
- Increased endorphins modulate the immune response
- This reduces the speed of unwanted cells growing.
Dextro-Naltrexone is an antagonist for at least one, if not more immune
cells
- Antagonises “TLR,” suppressing cytokine modulated immune system
- Antagonises TLR-mediated production of NF-kB – reducing
inflammation, potentially downregulating oncogenes

Taking Naltrexone in larger doses of 50-300mg seems to negate the
immunomodulatory effect by overwhelming the receptors, so for the effect to
work, the dose must be in the range of 0.5-10mg, usually maxing at 4.5mg in
 clinical experience.

   - Antagonises “TLR,” suppressing cytokine modulated immune system
   - Antagonises TLR-mediated production of NF-kB – reducing inflammation,
potentially downregulating oncogenes

Taking Naltrexone in larger doses of 50-300mg seems to negate the
immunomodulatory effect by overwhelming the receptors, so for the effect to
work, the dose must be in the range of 0.5-10mg, usually maxing at 4.5mg in
clinical experience.

Re: CS>Moderator?

2021-04-22 Thread Rowena
I enjoy it all, and am so happy when I see some  of the old names from
long ago. Also pleased to see newer names.

The silver list was the first health discussion group I joined when we
went on line over 20 years ago. Some names disappeared, others stayed
quiet. I'm quiet, all i could contribute are thanks to the people who
are active. And I save a lot of time busybodying on line when people
post the gossip, the rumours. Because I thought I was soon going to be
unable to conduct any kind of mail I closed down my groups to save
family some trouble one day, but couldn't  bear to leave the Silver
List. But I got better, and enjoy it all.

I am so grateful when people mention various remedies, as I forget them
otherwise. I loved the info about bicarb and CS too, and have a little
jar mixed up ready. .

It's unbelievable to me how much I forget so quickly. Thanks to those
who repeat themselves and other people.

For anyone looking for a little extra, please investigate LDN Low Dose
Naltrexone. The yahoo LDN discussion groups have gone to Facebook which
I don't do, but it is astonishing how many different problems are being
helped with this oldish drug used in tiny quantities. I'll post some
links. I follow the protocol used by cancer specialist Prof Angus
Dalgleish of St George's Hospital, London, three days on and three days
off, with CBD on the off days as a protocol for cancer, but there are
also experienced practitiosilners in Canada and America, arising out of
research conducted over the past quarter century, Bihari being a notable
name to research.  On YouTube too.

I'll leave it here, but will post some links in due course.

Love to you all.

Rowena Down under

Oh, I meant to tell Aussies ages ago that I was wrong when I mentioned
Sutton's CS; I was surprised to find they use Dalyellup spring water not
distilled water. And bringing distilled water home is a breeze since
Refresh of Perth started selling 5 litre containers, I get mine from
Woolworths.

https://ldnresearchtrust.org/how-naltrexone-works Links at bottom of page.

LDN is most commonly being used for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, multiple
sclerosis, myalgic encephalopathy, autoimmune thyroid diseases, and
various cancers. Many autoimmune diseases seem to respond to LDN.

Levo-Naltrexone is an antagonist for the opiate/endorphin receptors

 * This causes increased endorphin release
 * Increased endorphins modulate the immune response
 * This reduces the speed of unwanted cells growing. Dextro-Naltrexone
is an antagonist for at least one, if not more immune cells
 * Antagonises “TLR,” suppressing cytokine modulated immune system
 * Antagonises TLR-mediated production of NF-kB – reducing
   inflammation, potentially downregulating oncogenes

Taking Naltrexone in larger doses of 50-300mg seems to negate the
immunomodulatory effect by overwhelming the receptors, so for the effect
to work, the dose must be in the range of 0.5-10mg, usually maxing at
4.5mg in clinical experience.

"Ere, ere", I second that. Just let it go, it starts and stops, so don't worry
about it. It's only a push of a button, you probably do that all the time with
all other shyte which comes over the Internet.

I believe there was a discussion about this a year or so ago.  Mike was not
willing to relinquish the list.  You might want to search the Files.PT

CS[MODERATOR] Hate mail, etc...

2000-09-04 Thread M. G. Devour
Hi all,

First, I would like to offer as a guideline that it is best to bring
situations of off-list harassment or aggression to my attention
privately, as I'm the only one equipped to respond and it is better
not to disrupt the group with issues that can usually be handled
quietly.

Second, I do consider abusive behavior, even off-list, as sufficient
cause for being removed from the list. After all, if you don't get
all the list messages you won't have anything to complain about...

Complaints about how the list is run, or the behavior and habits of
other list members, are best directed to me in private. Even if I
choose not to act, or not as forcefully as you would like, it will
still be the most effective thing you can do.

Do not attempt to play list cop. The only one around here who has
that authority is the one who controls access to the list... me.

Private messages will be going to the parties involved. Please allow
me some time for the issues to be settled. Thank you folks.

Be well,

Mike Devour

Re: CS[MODERATOR] Political discussions...

2000-09-01 Thread john rigby
Ha there folks,
Apologies to Mike and all!
I shall gracefully as possible retire my repartee from Silver-List and
invite the off-topic people to make use of food4thought as a possible
vehicle to discuss other different efforts at longevity as well as levity -
but it IS moderated as is here, with Mike and is intended to expand the
frontiers a little for us -especially the philosophical, but also with
decorum!

I shall now return to lurking on the list, as the whole CS thing is quite
deep and needs some considerable study.

Cheers,

John

As much as I am a Libertarian I've *got* to call a halt to the Oz, Oz
and Elections, and other political threads. It's out of place here on
a list devoted to Colloidal Silver.

Politics and elections is so divisive a topic that it will inevitably
degenerate into huge and assaultive flame wars.

CS[MODERATOR] On Topic vs. Off Topic

2000-08-31 Thread M. G. Devour
Barb wrote:
Just get some books on the subject and start small. That is what I
did, and I still sometimes wonder about my sanity. But I have been
to several urine therapy websites worldwide, so it is apparently a
 widespread form of insanity.

Here, Barb directs us to the best means we have to further our study
of this and other off-topic topics...

It is, however, time to gracefully and graciously end the discussion
so we do not overburden folks with non-CS-related information.

Part of the charm and effectiveness of this group is that, no matter
what question you have you're likely to pick up a few good answers.
I'm glad to see that continue.

However, there is a difference between the way we handle off-topic
stuff, however interesting, and on-topic stuff:

On-topic things, directly or closely related to colloidal silver,
can be talked to exhaustion as long as there's interest.

Off-topic things should be discussed only long enough to satisfy
everyone's initial curiosity and direct them to other resources.

READ THE ABOVE TWO SENTENCES AGAIN, PLEASE!

I ask all of you, new and old members alike, to please use this
model to limit off-topic postings.

I'm never going to shut down off-topic discussions and chit-chat
completely, so don't worry that we're going to lose the camaraderie
and diversity of interests that make the list so friendly. But I've
been reminded that the present level of noise is too distracting.
