Re: [Tex-music] A4
Man, welcome to pandora's box! After reading all of Bob's posts I have succeeded in producing acceptable pdf files in both letter and a4 format, using ps2pdf from MiKTeX 2.9 (not Ghostview convert) with no command line options. But to switch from one size to the other I changed the default paper setting in MiKTeX settings. Bob, do I read you correctly than one cannot simply use command line options on ps2pdf to produce both sizes of outputs? I'll also add than in the process, I've found that the .ps produced by dvips in MiKTeX 2.9 is very different internally from 2.6. --Don Simons >-Original Message- >From: TeX-Music [mailto:tex-music-boun...@tug.org] On Behalf Of Bob Tennent >Sent: Tuesday, March 26, 2013 1:31 PM >To: Werner Icking Music Archive >Subject: Re: [Tex-music] A4 > > >|It seems the "official" way is to do > >| > >| initexmf --edit-config-file dvips > >| > >|and move the @ a4 section ahead of the @ A4size section. Re: [Tex-music] funny error with PMX
Hi Don, thanks a lot for your rapid reply. I do not remember what I intended with "Aa" 2 years ago. Maybe just experimentation. This code has been running before. Would have been impossible to write it. Otherwise I agree completely with your recommendations. Maybe there are more error traps with similar behaviour? Just a question. Regards, Dieter Am 26.03.2013 15:47, schrieb Don Simons: Dieter-- We can share the blame for this one. Out of curiosity, what don't you like about the default \afterruleskip? Also out of curiosity, how did you manage to input so much error-free stuff without being able to process it?
