messages i place in the resendmail doesn't seem to get resent, even after a few
hours.
I had to restart assp before it triggers the resending.
Is there anywhere i can trigger resending or whats the resend interval or
perhaps something is broken in my setup?

It turned out to be that my MTA - qmail wasn't patched correctly to use
certificates via ssl/tls. Once I was happy the patch on the MTA was
installed correctly all worked fine.

I ran the assp.mod but it complained about several modules not being
installed. Mail::SPF::Query, DBD::ODBC, DBD::ADO and can't remember the
other but I think it was something::Himer. Because the cpantesters.org

the spam coming in are very similar. I noticed that the
Reply-To is a LinkedIn domain which I have whitelisted. But the from is
not a whitelisted domain. And the To doesn't even exist on my MTA.

I meant denySMTPConnectionsFromAlways my bad. I wondered if it was
just because the spammer testing the authentication was already
connected. I restarted ASSP and he seemed to go away, which either
caused him to stop or he is denied now.

I can see lots of spam found but when I request the blocked log it
just says no blocked email.
Now the spam found is not for the email requesting the report as I
have recently moved email domains. Do I need to set the

Can I analyze the delayed email somehow? I don't physically have the
email at this point. Once I have the email I can analyze it. Probably

Ok I will check it out tonight. I can access the GUI when I am where
the server is but I don't allow port 5 to be public on the firewall
as I don't want to have everyone out there probing my assp gui
installation.

I did use the email interface on another email that I saw the same
thing happening which got delayed. The email interface didn't really
tell me much just how the Bayesian spam filter was weighting the words
in the email not if it was on a whitelist or not or why it might have
been

interface to do with white listing. It just has Bayesian Filtering and
Spam/Ham possibilities. Is there a setting to let that be provided.
