Female Spayed bitches

Hi all We are contemplating taking on 2 x 2 1/2 yr old bitches that need to be rehoused. We currently have an 18 mth old male. Does anyone see any problems with this. Also does a spayed bitch still go on heat? Curious Berner lover New Zealand

I second Eileen. A sudden change in behavior, especially in terms of eating, can be a sign of trouble brewing. When dogs don't feel well, they often don't feel like eating so it's something to be aware of and follow up on with your vet. -Sherri Venditti
