I went to their site this morning and I agree with your findings. They must
have made recent changes to the site which now make it very inaccessible
with Jaws 10. This is very unfortunate, as the Southwest site was one of
the model sites that I use when demonstrating accessible verses
Ok, I installed an update to something, probably c cleaner and it installed
google chrome. I couldn't find a way around it, and it has now taken over as

Is the simple fix just to uninstall google chrome or what
First, remove Google Chrome, which was probably installed when you updated
CCleaner. Next, if you're running XP, access Set Program Access and
Defaults on the Start menu by pressing the Windows key and hitting S until
you land on it. Tab to the Custom button and hit Space to expand it. Tab
Hi Bill.
Assuming that you are using Windows 7 or XP, your default would probably be
the one installed with the software. So, if you uninstall Explorer 9, the
system should go back to the explorer version you had before.

Hi all,
I just bought a USB extender cable. The USB ports on this computer I
just bought are all located on the back of the computer, and they're
hard to reach as my computer is set up, so I ordered an extender as
well as a USB hub, which I'm still waiting for to arrive. Anyway, the

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm seeing more and more websites
that used to be accessible, which aren't any longer.
My question is, what's happening with accessibility and the ADA?
We are regressing, not progressing, to my humble thinking.

the funny thing is when i contacted southwest they wer like ablivious to
the issue and didn't seem to have an answer passing it off to the scrreen

Hi Desiree,
If the extender cable is too long, you may find that the power generated by
the USB port is not strong enough to travel along the length of the cable to
the device.
I'm afraid that you may have to get a powered hub, or powered device to plug
into that cable, otherwise the cable on
Hi,
OK that makes sense. So a USB hub will not provide that power? I guess
that was a dumb question since I'll be plugging probably 4 or so
devices into the hub. Maybe I'll try to figure out a way to maneuver
the way my computer is set up so I can have easier access to the
ports. Thanks for your
The maximum USB length is 3 meters or around 10 feet. This includes
both the extender and the device cable. If you have any devices that
might draw significant power, I would recommend a powered USB hub as well.

Trouble is, when I open the Control Panel and select Programs, there is no
entry in the list for Internet Explorer of any version!
How do I uninstall IE 9 without that?

Hi Desiree,
Yeah some extender cables need to be installed before they're able to
function properly. I would plug the extender and wait for the new device
ditection prompt to pop up then would follow the prompts. They are very
easy to be installed as Windows would recognize their drivers

Don't be confused by the term safe mode. In Firefox, this simply means
running it wit all add-ons disabled. So unless you are trying to
troubleshoot a particular problem with Firefox, you should always run it in
regular mode.

My guess would be off hand that there's a problem with connection/mail server
settings.
What actually happens when you try typing up a message, etc., and then hit ctrl

What I mean is not too sure what you mean when you say there's an issue sending
mails?
