A few users encountered this during the Beta as well: you should just need to log into
the Administrator to complete the install as instructed by the last panel of the

That should do the trick, I believe.
If not, disable Friendly HTTP Error Messages in your IE browser options panel

The migration wizard manages the installation of the ODBC services. There
should be no need to change files like you're suggesting.

Glad the first issue could be resolved. The second one is probably what the
other poster mentioned, which is that the migration tool has to be run.

Let me re-iterate what seems to have happened here:
1) The Installer encountered a problem of some kind. It should have then
told you this and what to do next. This caused the error when you tried to
get to the websites.
2
This was reported as issue 52466 during the Beta by Michael.
The issue should be addressed by the post-install Migration Wizard.
Clicking the button on the last page of the Installer should launch a browser to have
you log in a run it.
The ODBC services won't run until that happens (and
incorrect.
Thanks for your help Michael!

Well, take note of this too: My MX 6.1 final upgrade install just worked *perfectly*.
I had all sorts of hair-pulling experience towards the end, there (which of course is
why there are beta testers :D).
Thx MM! Now I have to pull together

Indeed, I have no idea why the installer would put the path in like that. I

Merant is the maker of the ODBC bridge used in CFMX. The error is one where the
installer does not replace the default path info (program files/merant) with the
