[Chevelle-List] question about center links

Do centerlinks really need to be replaced?? I have looked at about 5 diff front-end rebuild kits, and none of them include the center link. I find it odd that the guy at the shop told me today that mine would need to be replaced- If they always needed to be replaced, wouldn't they be part of

Yes center links do need replaced, the ball joint that attaches to the pitman arm, and the one that attaches to the idler arm wear out just like any other part of the front supension. just price one, then you will see why they are not included in the front end kit, they seem to run about $175.00
