Maven 1.1 does not currently support entities in project.xml. You need
to use Maven 1.0 until this is resolved.

Hello,
Have any of you used Cache from Commons Sendbox? The API documentation
built from JavaDocs is not very helpful. I'd love to get some
guidance how to use the Cache propertly.
Thank you for your responces to [EMAIL PROTECTED]

While reviewing ConfigurationFactory I stumbled on the namespace logic,
may I ask who is actually using it ? It looks like an unnecessary
complexity to me, imho it's easier to have several configuration
descriptors rather than a single namespaced descriptor.
What do you think ?

Simplicity I think is always a good idea.. I don't use it.. I will say, I
am not too keen on the ConfiguraitonFactory anyway... I think I made a hash
of things when first writing it...

I've just checked out collections from scratch, and it all builds just

I'm not entirely sure what's going wrong here, but hopefully this will

Hello Tom,
no it is not. Protocols for transferring EMail are SMTP or IMAP.
HttpClient implements HTTP.
Browsers do lots more than just HTTP, that's why most of them
chose to implement mailing functionality as well. But HttpClient
is intentionally focused on HTTP alone, which is tricky enough.
HttpClient is specific to Http/hhtps protocols. You can't send
messages to email server using Http client.
You need to have local SMTP mail server/SMTP mail server provided by
your ISP configured to your java application for sending the messages
to external server.

Hi ALL,
I would like to have a working example that helps me to understand the

Here's a few sample apps that you may find useful:

I do not know of a good comparison of HttpClient vs. competition
concentrating primarily on the file upload functionality.
