i've been trying to install the latest navit (2398) from the navit
repository, and am having the usual problems with opkg not being able
to handle it. i've created a 128mb swap file, and turned off the x
server, but no dice.

I don't know opkg to well, so when I run into problem I often just end up
editting /usr/lib/opkg/status by hand. You could try removing libc entry
from there and then reinstalling libc. Not sure if it will help with your

well, this is broken in shr-testing full-stop. regardless of whether
you flash or upgrade to the most recent, it won't work. shr-unstable
doesn't have this bug, but probably has lots of others

I do use the suspend button a lot, as a substitute I created an
application entry with the line:

Maybe you are using old frameworkd, which doesn't support new kernel. It's

Every download is already run in a wget sub-process.
Gui is not freezed during downloads, it's just very slow.
You can experienced big slowness during downloads if:
1. you use Download all button
2. your podcasts are stored

last night i installed yaouh to update my tangogps files. it ran once
but i had to stop it along the way due to other issues
ran it again latter. opened up tangogps and i can see no map at all.
