built for two weeks.
We are now trying to build the missing packages, but it has to be done
in the correct order, so there is a lot of work. KDE suffer from the
same problem.

other mirror, so yes at least one mirror in Europe would be
appreciated.

are you using?
An upgrade to a 6.1 kernel may fix the bug.

Could you give us more details?
Sure, these are however also in the PR.
Ok, I haven't seen the original bug before, as it was not sent to the list.
Anyway kfreebsd-i386
/kFreeBSD, not
on GNU/Linux. Maybe the problem comes from the test that is included in
gtk+2.0 (don't forget the tests are run as a user in a chroot by
the build daemon).
Meanwhile I have built the package manually, and killed the test with -9
so that the build can continue.

Anyone working on this? May I help somewhat?
I have started to work on that some time ago, but failed to allocate
enough time for that.
So any help is welcomed.

only diagnose disk
throughput with it.
Am I missing something? Should I look to other tools?
The equivalent of strace on GNU/kFreeBSD is ktrace. Then you have to use
kdump to get the trace.

wrong. The Linux kernel development works the same way as Debian.
If some persons are working on a port, it is supported. If not it is not
supported. It does not depend on the fact the hardware is old or not.

That looks like a good move, Any chance of a Sparc (32) port?
sparc32 is not supported by the FreeBSD kernel. About a kfreebsd-sparc64
port, AFAIK nobody is currently working on that.

It is fixed in 0.7.6 which should now be on all mirrors.

think this problem is known ...
I don't think so. Do you have an idea why you don't have /dev/tty? If
devfs is mounted, this file should exists.
It is working correctly here, I am using gnupg regulary on this machine.

Known problem. Switch the VirtualBox NIC type from Am79C973 (default)

VirtualBox version 1.5.6).
As the problem is located in VirtualBox, I am closing the bug opened
against kfreebsd-6.
