The package is supposed to be actually depending on libcurl4-gnutls-dev

I haven't seen this happen since the original report. I don't know what it was,
but it seems to happen infrequently
if at all. If no one else has experienced it, maybe the bug can be closed.

I agree, that it's challenging to automate the update process.
Therefore a text message to run upgrade.php is sufficient for now.
Nevertheless such a reminder is necessary for people who rely on APT and
are not familiar with the upstream upgrade procedure.

I ran into this too - even though it is labeled as a 'minor' bug,
why wasn't this fixed in the mean time? It is a very little work
to fix it. The way it is now, apt-file even suggests to install

Every time I install a kqemu.ko, i.e. for new kernel
compile, /etc/modprobe.d/kqemu is being written with major=0.
It will now work this way. Needs to be major=250.
Should be simple enough to fix it. I always edit it after the install and am
considering an init.d script to fix the file and
Additional info: If i comment out the lines for fgetty on tty1, tty2 and tty3 in
/etc/inittab and uncomment the lines for getty in the same file, i can login on

This will only appear in unstable, since tdb-dev 1.0.6-13 (oldstable,
stable, testing) contains /usr/lib/libtdb.la, whereas tdb-dev 1.1.0-1
(unstable) does not.
