If it matters pppd also does not start PPP. Its excuse is that the
password in chaps-secret is bat however the entry looks correct to
me.password*Isp name. Please advise.
You may want to try replacing Isp name with *

Hello,
I've installed a backport of exim4 for woody (because I want to use xasm

It's also trivial to generate a fake .deb of exim. I 've attached one to
this mail. The whole .deb consists of a Readme in /usr/share/docs.

How do I make procmail sort out the debian user list?
I've tried:
#Debian user

debian
But it doesn't work.
Try this:
:0 H
* ^X-Mailing-List.*debian-user.*
debian
Works For Me (TM).

Ist doch der normale Weg erst mal alles zu blocken, und dann die
benötigten Ports zu öffen. Telnet wurde nicht gebraucht, also ist der
Port immer noch geblockt.

My
would be to disable IDE support in the kernel and use libata
instead but libata doesn't speak ATAPI so the burners would still be non
functioning.
Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?

Build and install, then run depmod -a and modprobe emu10k1.
Or just upgrade to kernel 2.4.21 and see if it works.

Wenn ja, nimm es wieder raus, dann klapt's auch mit /dev/hda ;)
