Wow, that was a long time ago, I didn't even remember of this bug. Just reinstalled Sound Juicer in Intrepid and made a quick test : ripped a few tracks from an Audio CD, quit SJ, insert a data CD : it appears fine on the desktop. While the bug happened on a different computer (I bought a new

If you mean before hald is killed (when I can't see the CD icon on the desktop), the answer is no. It's like if there was no CD at all in the tray. After I kill / restart hald, when I insert the CD, Nautilus open its window so I guess I can list its content from the commad line (although I
