I successfully generated my .sdf file with your instructions and ran
gsicheck.
I think a tutorial like this should be in the Wiki.
I also want to thank Dick Groskamp for sending the gsicheck log files
off-list!

Thanks for your explanation. I tried to get the sdf myself to run
gsicheck again and see if the Catalan files were fixed, but I did not
succeed to build the sdf.
I downloaded the English source .sdf file to specify as template, but
still it did not work for me.

as the l10n process always recapture all strings I don't know what
went wrong here. Can you please give some examples what strings are
missing (string+filename+id) so we can check here in the chain
pootle-export-source where those strings were lost? Frank exported the

Catalan and I realise that some strings in help are in English.
I also installed and checked in previous ooo330l10n2 build and the same
