oldstable is ignorable, but Debian stable contains 1.7.0 and will never get
1.7.1 (well, only when squeeze is released)
Incidentally, what exactly is it
Currently the build.xml script which is inside hsqldb-1.9.0rc6 doesn't
work with 1.6.0. To avoid patches for hsqldb I thought that upgrade the
Ant version was a better approach. But as this isn't possible I'll patch
the build.xml that it also works with 1.6.0.
So nothing to change ;-)

Hi Eric and Christian,
so MacOSX is out of the picture with gcc-3.3 as well. Good. Now we just
need a word from the *BSD side regarding gcc-3.4.
My proposal still stands:

I got a request to do some funding for a Windows build bot (to be funded
be the OOo project, not by Sun as my mail adress suggest). build bots
are now integrated in the EIS and are of invaluable help for development
and QA.
I can think of several scenarios:

If you are going to do the build bot as a virtual machine, would it be possible
to make the VM image(s) available to third parties?
We redistribute OpenOffice with our product unmodified. We download a copy of
the source for the version we are redistributing so that we can be in
compliance

In theory this should be possible if you have the required licenses for
those images. But I personally have not enough knowledge about the MS
