When an unchanged Apache 2.2.8 is run from the command line (vs. run as a
Windows Service), Apache will not stop when the Apache window is closed.
It is fixed in the 2.2.8 download from the Apache Lounge.

Builds fine on Windows and successfully installed and tested.
Runs with all popular modules, except mod_fcgid needed a patch (see post
from Tom). After ASF releases 2.2.9 we make a mod-fcgid for 2.2.9 available.

HTPD 2.2.9 with Apr[-util] 1.3.2 builds with VC9 without issues.

Here with VS 2008, a release build builds all modules out of the box,
except Lua include for a .h file was not there.
