What do you mean by all when you say the mga fb driver supports all of this? Do you mean the stuff you said hal was needed for (DVI on g450/550, multi-head on g200 MMS etc)? Is the mga fb driver you mention the mga driver included in XFree86? Using this I find that I do need hal for DVI on the
