Thanks, Doug. Concerning exported PDFs, I agree that setting up a Navigation Pane is a good idea. I don't know whether that was a limitation when the PDF version 1.4 document was produced via OpenOffice.org 1.1 in 2004. Good luck using the PDF export provisions of current Apache OpenOffice.
