I've recently upgraded a 1.4.2 jsp install of DSpace to 1.5.2 Manakin, moving to a new server in the process. Everything seems to work OK but after a Google crawl or intense activity, my Manakin-based interface crashes with this sort of message (the jspui interface continues working).
