- Advanced/item wildcard policy admin tool
In the xmlui (reference theme)

- Authorizations in the administrative panel

Hi,
we made a page on SOLR performance optimization, with 2 hints:
- the SOLR autocommit feature
- Query warmup
Both hints, and some helper scripts can be found at:

Make sure to post when these things don't make a difference.
best regards,

Hi Palash,
How did you deploy your application to your web server? Did you use the
ant scripts. Generally you access DSpace using either the XMLUI or JSPUI
at http://localhost:8080/xmlui or http://localhost:8080/jspui respectively.

Hi Tonny,
as far as I know, you can't get this type of information from the SOLR
(statistics) because it only stores usage events (pageviews downloads).
However, the new Discovery (DSpace 1.7) SOLR facted browse interface indexes
all metadata (or all metadata that you want it to index).
So,
Hello,
I have two instances of dspace installed on my machine, dspace 1.7.0 and
dspace 1.6.2. The discovery patch has been applied to dspace 1.6.2 to
facilitate range queries. Range queries works as expected from both solr
admin search interface and from dspace xmlui interface. However, range
Dear Friends,
I want to do batch modifications on dspace 1.6.2. I have modified some
metadata information
on some .csv file using excel When I try to import it the issue date
is added and removed the previous issue data setting.
Is there a way to block or ignore issue data modification.
During ant fresh_install i am getting error Value for bitstream_format_id is

Hi Sisay,
Peter's suggestion will work, and is perhaps the best option. Remove any
columns that you are not editing.
However what might be happening is that Excel is converting the date string to
a date-formatted cell, and when it saves it back to the CSV it saves it in a
different format.
Hi Tonny,
Prior to 1.7, I think you should query the Postgres directly.
See this thread for more info:
