Dear Sir/Madam,
I have implemented Dspace 1.5 on RHEL-5 and database
is PostgreSQL. I took a backup of whole Dspace i.e Database, Assetstore etc.
But when i restored the taken backup all the functionalities in the UI seems
to be working fine except Search Advance search.
Hi Everyone,
I'm wanting to include a bit of code to display an image slider
script, but want this code to appear only on the homepage. The code
itself appears in the buildHeader portion of the page-structure.xsl
file.
What would be the best way to go about this?
Thanks in advance!
Jerrold
Hi Geetha,
I myself am very new to Dspace but I'm guessing your problem could be an
Indexing issue. You should try:
[dspace]/bin/dspace index-init
Hope that helps!
Thanks.

This looks like you're trying to import an XML file. This is not
possible using the metadata importer. You need to run the metadata
importer on a CSV file as

Hi Ahmed,
Are you able to email the top 10 lines, as Andrea suggested? The likely
problem is that one of your headings only has one element, for example:
title
Everything needs at least two elements, schema.element, for example:

Hi Jerrold,
The solution that works the best for us is to have xslt include an external
html file into the homepage.
So in the xsl file/template that you want to include content (when its the
homepage), you can add.

Hello,
Please excuse the cross-posting to both lists...
Are any of you using METS with DSpace to manage and describe your digital
objects?
If so, would you please be willing to message me off-list an answer a question
or two?
Thank you,
Colleen

Hi Everyone,
A couple of questions...
First, I'm inserting a bit of code to be displayed only on my
homepage. Am using the following code:
xsl:choose
xsl:when
test=/dri:document/dri:meta/dri:pageMeta/dri:metadata[@element='title']/i18n:text='xmlui.general.dspace_home'
...
/xsl:when
