[Dx4win] rigexpert

2006-02-13 Thread Rick Graham
Dare I ask, does DX4WIN work with this interface? From what I have read on other lists, the answer is no. My question then is who is waiting on who? Is it Rigexpert waiting on DX4WIN to get some coding done or vice versa. 73 DE AI3W, Rick

[Dx4win] QRP and those other little checkboxes

Hi all, I've been playing with QRP lately and have been faithfully checking the box under 'QRP' when I make one of these contacts. My questions are: is there a way to track WAS, DXCC, etc. with QRP (or YL, or one of the other little checkboxes)? I know I can set up a group for my QRP contacts,

Hi all, After playing around in the RTTY contest this past weekend, I decided to import that log into DX4WIN. I'm glad that DX4WIN has the capability of NOT saving your import until after you exit. This particular contest allowed you to work the same station on the same band as many times as you

[Dx4win] PSK

Hi all, I finally got around to playing with the built-in PSK interface with DX4WIN. While I realize its not a full-blown package, is there a way to have 'brag files' and other canned text available? I'd prefer to use this interface due to ease of entering into the log. Thanks! 73 DE AI3W,

[Dx4win] Change Rig parameters?

Hi all, I was wondering how easy it would be to slightly change rig parameters. I have an FT-920 and using the built-in CAT control. When using PSK on 20m, the frequency is automatically set in DX4WIN as 20 RTTY. Is there a way that I can tell DX4Win that the frequency window between 14068 -

[Dx4win] Grids - Problem solved!

2004-08-05 Thread Rick Graham
Hello all, The problem is solved! What it was (and perhaps it's a 'bug'?) is that if you have the grids set for 6 characters, it will ignore the 4 character grids in the exterior grid window! I use the 6 char grids for UHF work to zero in on a station and 4 character grids for 6 meters/2 meters.
