Just hooked up my Ten-Tec RX340D SDR to my 40 meter dipole.
from all the new CFL lightbulbs in my neighborhood I get more than S9
+40db of noise.
looks like no ham radio at home.
maybe I will have better luck at my daughters 75 miles away.

Didn't have an operational rig when I bought it from Walmart...and I think it's

A simple solution would be to make use of one of the many free file-sharing
services. The downside is that folks would have to download the file(s), and
perhaps see an ad or two.
True purists will complain about the ads and walk away from the download.
