Yes, this list can be considered a tool, much like tech support.
Would I accuse you of not being able to do your job participating here?
Probably not.
I don't care if your company has ALL the MCSE's. Very few of them wrote the
friggin' products. The diversity of Microsoft's products alone
Agreed 100%. Used to work around people that wouldn't ask for help as they
saw it as a flaw. Don't understand the perspective at all.

I have a single IS with all of my users in it. If I split them up into
two different IS's in two different Storage Groups on the same server,
do I break SIS?

I use 2 methods in 5.5:
1. Set MX1 to your firewall or Ex server if it is
public (not advisable). Now all email will be delivered to your Exchange server
(to test - telnet exchange server name or IP address on port 25 to see if it

The numbers are probably OK if you are just counting windows systems and
looking at licensed seats. Since many people use other systems (Unix, Linux,
AOL,ISP systems) I would assume that total % seats for Exchange would be

Just remind me to never order services from your company. I'd much
rather go with a company who know's when to spend $250 as opposed to
sitting on the crapper for hours writing on toilet paper.

assistance. ANYBODY who doesn't think
Very well said.

showing someone how to make a user and create a home directory. The license disk
