Just be careful, floppies are _very_ unreliable for backups.

I'm wondering if there are any trombone players/experts out here. My
question is, how would a trombonist generally interpret a grace note with a
slur onto another note about a 2nd lower (in a 20th century score)?:
a. Would they soft-tongue the second note?
b. Would they just tongue the first

I certainly would, in a non-jazz

Can the Preview app in OS X 10.3.3 convert files from PDF to PS/EPS?
Also, does it handle PDF links, like the ones in the Finale manual that
bring you to different places in the document, or even to a pre-defined
place in another document?

Although I haven't tried, I guess you can use the postscript printer driver
to compile a PS listing. EPS, no I don't think that's possible.

Yup, it most certainly is. It has acquired this Lemur like blink ---

The meta-tool resize command is all messed up -- you hit for half size
and dang if it doesn't decide to go all the way down to 5%.

I have been using Finale 2003 on my Mac quite satisfactorily, thank

I've been considering upgrading to FinMac 2004, but have seen all the
posts here about bug after bug after bug. Since I would be using 2004

Klaus is entirely correct. Even a mediocre trombonist, such as myself,
can play the grace and the main note as two distinct notes. That said,
the composer's intent and the conductor's interpretation rule. I
recently played a piece with a passage involving grace notes, and the

I have a Mac SE running System 6.
I have a bunch of Microsoft Word documents on 800K floppies.
Is there any way to get those documents to a PC?
1. I would first try a USB external floppy on a modern mac. Copy the
data, burn it to one CD and put that in the PC
