[Fink-devel] /var/lib/dpkg

Hi: I just installed fink for 10.4 and so far everything installed smoothly (powerpc, stable, and then unstable). But I just noticed it creates the directory /var/lib/dpkg in addition to /sw/var/lib/dpkg is this intentional? Sorry if I am just out of the loop. Bill

Howdie: I have some fortran compilations that link with -lstdc++ Does g77-3.4.x require /usr/lib/gcc/darwin/3.3/libstdc++.a. I tried to direct it to /usr/lib/gcc/powerpc-apple-darwin8/4.0.1/libstdc+ +.dylib but it didn't work. I'm assuming it is incompatible for the same reason g++ 3.3
