that the KX3 is a much better CW rig, if like me CW is your mode of choice.

CW is my mode of choice and I am very happy with my Flex-3000. However,
to be fair, I don't use the internal CWX keyer. Instead I use an
external Winkeyer USB. There are a couple of advantages to this:
1) Keying speed is the same whether you are using Macros or Paddles.
2) You are not

It all depends what you want to do with the rigs. Yes I have
recently been comparing both rigs side by side. As far as in
the real world comparisons, pulling in weak stations in a
crowded band situation, both are equal. Do you want to use a
computer, or do you want knobs and buttons?
