Hi Dudley,
Thanks for doing the test, I really appreciate it.
I've also found that increasing the space underneath the F3K and the
metal ATU box it sits on has helped tremendously, seems the extra bit of
air flow helps to keep the temperature down at around 56c. Maybe longer
feet on the F3K

I have more or less sufficient credentials to understand and appreciate the
software development for the Flex 5000 and have no reason to think the 6000
series won't be of similar quality. I have a BS in computer science and a MS

Thank you, as always Neal. You never let the Flex community down.

The radio has had no malfunction since installing the new cable. Thanks so
much. You flex guys are the best!
I ran the radio from yesterday PM when I pout the new cable on and let it run

Thanks Neal-- I and surely others have really missed the Wiki. It is so
handy for that how-to information. I especially missed it because I help

Last week I posted a note saying that my VAC was not working.
Last evening I tried some different settings in the Power SDR Setup panel and
in the VAC Control Panel.
With these changes, I was able to get JT-64 to transmit but no noise was noted
on the waterfall. As a test of VAC, I also tried
I haven't even listened to the audio out of the headphones jack since I got
my Flex-1500 a few weeks ago but when I did tonight I got a intermittent
white noise at a very high level out of that audio jack. Sounds like
tearing.
I've been using it strictly for Digital mode so I've never had speakers
