I had the same problem and the solution at the end of the day was to disable
the wireless driver ... worked like a charm (disable not remove!). At the

Dale, did you make sure that the drive slider was all the way to 100 on
xmit? On some bands, changing it while in receive mode does not change it in
xmit mode. When you press tune check out the slider position.

to look at is which way the Firewire connector is installed ... the ferrite
bead should be on the connector closest to the Flex and not the computer

I cannot center the frequency display unless I use the zoom control which
reduces the width of the frequency and panafall display: it always wants to
be set at 75% on the right hand of the screen. I can almost center it but I

This new version will not upload to my Flex 6300. I get a message to the
effect that the software is incompatible with the radio. This happened with
the last release as well. Win10 and up to date. I can still open the radio
using the release 1.6.17.74 (at least that is the HW version on the flex).
I have a Flex 3000 which is not communicating with my computer . I have
another one which does . first question, any ideas and the second one is,
how do I reset it to factory defaults?
